The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth

Well located to ski lift and restaurants. Room was clean and well appointed with good kitchen facilities.

The location & restaurant are good. The rest - Terrible. Impossible to sleep on the ancient mattresses. We had 5 rooms & all were shocking. Concierges had no interest in helping with anything. Excluding restaurant, staff give the impression you're bothering them.

room was fine, restauarant was terrible. what they called a view was not good, just looked out on street

Came up for the mammoth gran fondo and it was the perfect location for the ride! I was able to bring my bike inside and ride right out the door in the morning. Excellent staff and the restaraunt was amazing too! Can't wait till next year!

Because we came in the off season for Mammoth (May, so no snow or skiing), our room was immediately upgraded when we arrived to have a mountain view. Our room had a nook with a seating area by the window that looked out directly at the beautiful mountains. There was also a small kitchen with stove in the room which was quite nice, along with a fireplace. The pool outside was quite large and heated, both of which sit in an area completely surrounded by the mountains so it provides a very serene view when relaxing in the Jacuzzi. In terms of location, it felt relatively close to the restaurants in the area. We didn't have any problem getting to various trails and Mammoth Mountain for hiking. Although we did not utilize the ski lift, it appeared that it was right above the hotel so there would be easy access for skiers during that season. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel and would recommend it to others.

their staff is really nice, they really help you to sovle your problems, and room is very clean.

Hotel is comparable with other Westin resort hotels I have stayed in. Great friendly staff. Room was top quality and close to the pool. Bed was super comfortable. Would stay again.

Room was very comfortable, clean and lots of water.

Room was very comfortable, clean and lots of water.

although its a little bit far from valley, its close to supermarket and gas station, and the room is really comfortable, just a little bit dry~

This is about 2.5hrs drive from Yosemite. Drive from Yosemite to Mammoth Lakes is wonderful, once in a life-time experience . This hotel is at great place. Staff were really good. One greatest thing I like about this stay is, they provides free bus shuttle service to any part of Mammoth lakes. After a hectic drive, I felt so very relaxed by just sitting on shuttle . Their response time is wonderful too

The hotel is in a prime location to Mammoth shops and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and cozy!

Staff was so nice and accommodating! Ski drop off was on site, easy and convenient. Wouldn't t count in using the pool or jacuzzi, it was jam-packed with families and only one hot tub had jets working.

Friendly service, clean hotel (most important). However, that RESORT fee can kill you at the end, overall, one of the best. The only thing I would change is if you can discount the fee to those who don't use the internet, PLEASE.

Very clean and nice hotel. Friendly staff. highly recommend.

If you are planning to visit Yosemite it is way to far to drive if you plan on hiking and returning back to hotel. Mammout Lake area is nice, but horribe location if Yosemite bound!

Stopped by for one night on a motorcycle trip through the Eastern Sierras. Great location, hardly anyone around which made it very relaxing. Room was big, with kitchen, fireplace and super clean! Will be back!

Room was very comfortable. Was unable to find staff most of the time at the front to give advice regarding area activities, etc. Sounds petty, but towels could have been softer. But very good experience overall.

I can't think of any way the Westin could have improved it's service. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, our car and luggage whisked away, checking in was a breeze. All the staff was very helpful and courteous, at all times. The hotel is spotlessly clean, ditto the room. They had overbooked our standard room so we were given an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite. Super clean, wonderfully appointed, the bed was to die for comfortable wtih extra pillows. The hotel is just steps away from shopping and dining, entertainment and a shuttle up to the ski resort. Perfect, perfect, perfect. You do however pay for that comfort. Well worth it to me. I will stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

Best overal dog experience and dog friendly town!!!
