The hotel seems like it's great for a group. The staff wasn't very friendly or attentive.

We got to check in earlier than 4pm because the room was already clean so that was very nice! We got a suite with a king and sleeper couch for 4 adults. Adult kids said the sleeper mattress was horrible. They pulled it out and put it on the floor but it was still pretty bad. Our king was comfy! The kitchen was a nice size. There was no air conditioner... Just a fan whose oscillating feature was broken. We kept it on all night with the windows open but it was still too warm to get a good night's sleep. Staff let us stay an extra hour after check out time. Very nice of them! And the backpackers in our group were welcome to leave their packs in the office for the day and they could relax in the lobby as long as they wanted to after check out. Continental Breakfast was good but the oatmeal option quickly ran out. We stayed in the summer. No AC was a bummer but there was a heater for winter visitor's comfort.

Great staff and a big shout out to Driver Tom! Great staff and a big shout out to Driver Tom! Great staff and a big shout out to Driver Tom!

Room smelled like a wet towel. The front door to the room and the walls are paper thin. So much noise in the morning and at night just from people walking around and talking. Don't stay on the bottom floor or you will hear everything that goes on above you. Staff was very nice and the hotel amenities are convenient. If you don't mind noise and aren't a clean freak, I'd recommend this place.

Great breakfast and a well kept and quiet place to stay. Decent gym area and the spa area is also nice! Great location in a quaint town 30 min from Yosemite Tioga pass entrance.

Pleasant stay. Bed was comfortable, mattress not too firm. Lots of pillows provided. It was great to slip into jacuzzi after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.

The bad: Thin walls and ceilings, which made our first night's sleep pretty bad. The good: - I told the lady at the front desk that we were hearing a lot of noise coming from above us, so she immediately gave us another room on the top (2nd) floor. The next night we slept very well. - All of the staff were very helpful. We arrived around 1:30 AM and the guy on duty at the time had no problem waking up, checking us in, and even helping with our luggage. - Location is less than a five minute walk to ski rental, multiple restaurants and bars, and Vons. -Short drive to the Main Lodge, only about 10 minutes. - Nice jacuzzi downstairs as well as a couple of cool hangout spots inside the hotel. - Free breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly, room is comfortable, robes are great, conveniently located.

This hotel totally surpassed expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Additionally, the breakfast provided had a good variety and provided great food before spending a day on the slopes.

The hotel was better than I expected. The jacuzzzi after skiing was a delight.

very good hotel. great value. extra clean and very nice host

Location on edge of town gives good access to local hiking/bike trails. Nice views of mountains. Southern exposure rooms have views of mountains. Northern exposure rooms have views of a parking lot. My room had the later. Drapes block approximately zero of the morning sun so getting up super early is never a problem. Breakfast has many options and better then what most chains offer. Spa area is small, but nice. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The front desk guy was super nice and helpful.Room were nice clean.

We had a great escape from the noise and hustle of the city. This hotel and staff were perfect for a relaxing, nature getaway. Located near mammoth lakes there are countless hikes and panoramic views around every corner.

We stayed here for three days and the staff was Very nice. The room was clean and looked updated. It did not look old. They have a nice pool table on the third floor. On the first floor they have a workout room, the jacuzzi, steam room, and spa was very nice. The continental breakfast was good. Location is excellent and close to restaurants, the movie theater, vons grocery, and cute boutique shops. Overall our stay was excellent, friendly staff, everything was clean, and the location was perfect. We will come back here again.

Great service, updated bathrooms and room decor. Close to a lot of good restaurants and only a few minute drive to the gondola. The only complaint we had was you can hear the other people in nearby rooms clear as day in your room. We booked our room online but you can call the hotel and add a pet for $25 a night.

Quiet and comfortable, convenient to shuttle bus and shops.

We went to Mammoth to ski. We did not require a "fancy" suite, and we certainly did not require a huge hotel bill. The Mammoth Creek Inn was centrally located in town, and was a few steps from the shuttle bus stop. The Inn staff was stellar: present, friendly, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. We did not use the spa, the steam room, or the gym, but they all looked clean and well cared for. The main lounge was comfortable, with a TV, games and complimentary cookies & beverages. The rooms were very clean. The towels were so white and fluffy and soft, I thought that they must be brand new. There were two terry cloth robes in the room, for us to use if we wanted to robe ourselves to journey to the spa downstairs. The bed was quite comfortable (except for the middle ridge-because it was actually two beds made up as one king sized bed). The sound insulation between the floors and walls could have been better, but our neighbors seemed to respect the space. Our view was of a neighboring business's parking lot, but this is Mammoth, and we have often found similar views in this town.. There does not appear to be any air conditioning, which we didn't need as it was winter, but I could see that opening the windows to a large parking lot on a summer night might be a problem. The parking lot seemed to be empty, however, when we were there ( two nights). The only other negative was a lack of proper bedside lighting. We like to read in bed, and we found the lighting to be a bit dim to do that. Really, all we require is a clean place to sleep and bathe, and a comfortable sleep. It isn't much, but in Mammoth, it can be a difficult thing to find. We definitely found it at the Mammoth Creek Inn. We shall return!

room was great large and comfortable. they should either ditch the televisions or upgrade to directv reception from cable was bad. staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel has the perfect location.... near restaurants, shopping mall, grocery store etc... The Staff are so wonderful , very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. I would come back here again and recommend it highly. Tim was very helpful and very, very nice as is Harry.
