Room is soooo small, and terrible smell inside of the room. They did too much photo editing of their hotel room, it isn’t even close to what the room supposed to look like.
The place is old built in 1896, but they did their best to upkeep the place. I think they should update it a little more. Change the carpet and give it a facelift. The electrical wire boxes are all the bldg and you can literally open one which I think is sort of dangerous. I saw one near the elevator on the 2nd floor. I also asked them to clean my room and they mentioned around 12pm they would so I went out and about and upon returning, the room had not been cleaned whatsoever so was disappointed. It’s an OK hotel and the pictures on the internet look great . But in real life it looks a little run down. The front staff was nice especially the blond young guy in front . The heavier set woman was not as friendly as the other Filipino woman. But overall, it was ok it has its charm being over 100 year old property

Hotel has a beautiful Lobby, however the room did not look clean, carpet was old, stains, etc. Hot water in the shower had temperature variations: either too hot or too cold
The room was huge with beautiful windows. However, the hotel is very old and the shower/tub could have been updated.
There was a lot mildew in the bathrooms and the bedroom wasn’t with two beds like I reserved
Very clean, helpful staff who got us a room late at night without a hesitation.
It was historic/old but clean and the staff was really nice and friendly and really cared about their property. We loved Victor the cat and the breakfast was really good. They offered a lot of options. The room was a bit small and there were no dressers to put cloths in so we lived out of our suitcases but it was okay. Perhaps some suitcase racks to elevate them. It worked fine and we really loved the location of the inn and highly recommend it!!!! Thank you for a great stay!!!!
Old historic building that is kept up very nice. Very nice staff and very clean. Right in town where you can walk to all the local action. Thumbs up 👍

Due to COVID this was postponed from last year. The Rodeway Inn will have a complete remodel, and become the new Lumberjack Hotel. When finished, The Sonora Inn will get an upgrade.
