We used the room for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready for a wedding. The location of the wedding was the fairgrounds and this motel was perfect (across the street). It is an older motel, but was clean.

Our room was very SMALL. We had a dog and there was barely room to set up his crate. Bathroom had been recently remodeled and was nice. Room was recently painted. Furniture was old. Refrigerator and microwave were good. We did not use either the A/C or heater, so don't know how well they would have worked. I would not stay there again.

It was a cute older motor lodge. However one wash cloth for two guests ? The base boards in the room were dirty. The shower was mildewed and needed a good scrubbing around the edges. It was cold and there was only a sheet and one thin blanket and three pillows for two people. There is a gap under the thin door you could hear everything going on outside. It was ok for one night. Will we stay here again? Nope

Extremely outdated, old and dirty. We had to drive to Walmart to buy bed sheets due to bad ordor. Wouldn't recomend this place.

Large trees covering the property, very quiet location. Friendly staff and area was safe

This hotel is an excellent value. I did not expect a mini fridge and microwave. It is not new or fancy. It is clean and a great value for the price.

NICE AREA ACROSS FROM FAIR GROUNDS AND AT BASE OF GREAT TRAIL

Cute, but run down. Broken equipment, rocking toilet, ac missing knobs, cracked window panes, etc.

Definitely in need of update. Bed was comfortable, however, room was cramped and could have been cleaner

The hotel needs some serious upgrades, the odor of the room was strong enough to seep into all our belongings. The woman who did our check in was short and not very welcoming though another woman employee was more personable which was good to see. The bathroom door didn't latch closed, the bathroom door handle was falling off, the face tissue holder literally can be pulled out of the wall with the Sheetrock anchors still attached, not sure why it hadn't just been removed and had the holes closed up for neatness. The bathroom floor is warped and feels soft (which might be the cause of the funky smell, though a possibly moldy floor isn't a good excuse!) there's lots of little things that you can see that they "tried" to patch things up but really the room we stayed in just needs a full overhaul starting from scratch so there's a finished comfortable feel to it. I only saw our room so I can't speak for the rest but I do understand why the overall rating is so low compared to others in the area and for not really any less than other accommodations (especially after the $40 dog charge per night added on). I chose it thinking it couldn't be that bad...whoops! Also my dog is a senior who just started chemo my father was in tow for the trip with a bad foot so I wanted to be sure I got a ground level room which that's all this hotel has so I knew it was a sure thing. I think there's others spots to consider before this...unless some time and money is put back into it to defunkify it.

i was greeted in the parking lot by what appeared to be a street person who was staying there and assured me that he would be up all night watching the grounds so i needn't worry about the security of my car... that was enough... I left and got another place to stay...

Not very clean or well maintained. Positives were acommodating staff, decent towels, hot shower and large screen TV and heaters worked when we finally found the thermostat control. Mediocre mattress, virtually nonexistent bedding, lights that didn't work, lumpy pillows, dirty sofa, cheapest "breakfast" offering I've seen. Noisy location. Would not return or recommend! I'd rather take chance on other lodging!
