The staff and pricing was fine. The mattress was great, but the building seems run down. For example the heater switch was broken in the kitchen area, the phone didn’t work at all, and the shower did not drain at all. It left 2-3” of standing water even after 8 hours. The property just needs some upkeep. Bowls were chipped in the kitchen, etc. that all being said we enjoyed our stay here and the hot tub was a lovely 102 F.

Perfect location near the center of Mammoth, easy access to restaurants and shopping centers, mountain resort and other visitor services all easily reached. Hotel room is clean, quiet and friendly staff.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming (Brad). Enough parking space, although tight cornering. Room is clean and good decor, but missing microwave :( Like that they are pet friendly. Lots of food option around, and red line to get to Village is just across. Overall good to know about this place. Will definitely be in my option where to stay next time.

The property is centrally located but the hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. The lobby bar was closed the night we stayed and the games are missing pieces. There was trash in the hallways and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long while

No mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee, breakfast options, ice holder, or hot tub. Listing mentioned there was a hot tub. Access to room not cleared of snow. Most staff were friendly, although, there was not urgency to assist when I went to front desk to ask a question since no phone in room. For the price I expected more. Will look for other options next time in Mammoth. Location is great.

Things are tough right now in mountain towns. This is a very big older hotel/motel. The entire building we were in appeared to be in the middle of an ongoing renovation. At one end, things looked pretty good, but there was drywall dust and styrofoam swirling from about mid- building on. There were boxes and extension cords in the hallway. There was no handle to the door out to the parking lot. A handful of workers appeared to be frantically get new TVs and amenities into the rooms to get them ready for occupation. I think it was premature to put guests in the building. That said, once we were in our room it was recently renovated, freshly painted with newer furniture and a big screen TV and mini fridge. We may have been the first people the stay in it post-renovation. We had no trash can and housekeeping never came. The phone had no plug. The shower head came to eye level on me at 5”6”, and was way too low for a tall person to comfortably shower. Parking was over full on Saturday night. The worker in the coffee bar on the lobby never showed on Saturday. But the lobby is warm and comfortable. No jacuzzi, but there is a steam room and a sauna we didn’t visit. The bears got into the over-full dumpster and made a mess the last night we were there. All in all, I have hopes for this place, but they aren’t quite there yet.

Great location. The property could use a facelift, but considering the location and price, it has a cozy, ski chalet ambience. Rented a fireplace room and was very cozy to relax in for 4 nights. Like the equipment lockers, very convenient and keeps gear out of the rooms!

Fun Retro vibe. Jimmys Tavern was the best! Delicious food, charming bartenders/staff with a lovely ambiance!

Have stayed there for years. Feel very much at home every time we visit.

Cleanliness can be improved. In the middle of everything.

Great activities for kids after skiing without leaving the hotel. We will definitely come back.

The carpet was so gross i didn't dare go barefoot. The version of AC aka box fan wouldn't stand on its own. I did have the window open but couldn't open the curtains due to the blinding outside light. The furniture is from the 70's at best. The bed was like concrete giving me the worse back pain. And the fresh coat of paint to cover the water stains was an ill attempt. This room at best is worth $50/nt nit $150!!

So-so, clogged drain, fridge not working

The concierge was very pleasant and hospitable. The property is in a great location in town and close to the mountain. The rooms are extremely comfortable.

The room appeared to be recently updated and was in good condition. Clean.

Older hotel which is ok if it’s kept up and clean! The bedsheets showed a lot of wear and tear and had several stains. There were hairs on the sheets and pillowcases!! Totally gross. I asked to move rooms and Even though I checked the beds first, when we actually got into bed I found hairs in these beds also !!! I would have actually left and went to another hotel except that it was 11 pm and we were exhausted from driving 6 hours . Not ok

We got upgraded to a room with a fireplace so that was nice. Staff seemed young and uninformed but they were nice for the most part
