Lovely stay and we really enjoyed the King room with fireplace (even though we didn't use the fireplace). The room was extremely spacious, updated, comfortable and nicely furnished. Bathroom was nicely updated and spacious. Little kitchen area as well. Great value for the money. Lobby is very inviting and cozy.

I made reservation for a surprise for our anniversary. I was greatly disappointed. I was told we would have a room with a view and the view was the parking lot. The lighting in the room was horrible. The bed was lumpy which you could see this when the bed was made so you can imagine once the spread was turned down. I was underneath when purchased this was a deluxe room. I can't believe they consider this a deluxe room. The room and hallways had an odor of age. I went to get a massage at 5:05 and they said they closed at 6 offering the next day accommodations. I told them I was leaving early the next day. I asked if I could use the steamroom and it was broken. Never again.

Wonderful old hotel. Rooms are absolutely exquisite. The best nights sleep I've had in 2 weeks on the road. They were not serving breakfest while we there even though it showed it online as provided.

I made reservation and my room wasn't ready when we got there, we had to wait , but it was nice , we played pool and relax while waiting. The staff was so nice that upgraded us to a nice suite due to the long wait. Everyone was nice and friendly, the room was very clean and bed was super comfy.

Really liked the rustic feel to the place combined with very modern bathroom and appliances. Great shower! Good location - very close to good food. Staff was very nice and helpful. I'd stay here again anytime.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the spectacular Eastern Sierras. We spent the majority of our 4 days lakeside at several of the area's Alpine lakes. We ate at several local eateries and shopped at the Village in town.

On our CA roadtrip, we had to stay at our fair share of mediocre, to downright bargain basement, motels, so we decided to end our trip with something a little pricier. That it had a connection to old Hollywood cinema (Clark Gable), which is a longtime passion of mine, made it even better. It had an Alpen lodge feel, yet so many modern touches. The only downside is that it doesn't serve a continental breakfast. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and washed the memory of the Wagon Wheel in Salinas, CA from my mind!

Good Histroic Hotel ! Our A/C was not working well but it was OK .... Overall good hotel just little over priced !!!

The folks at this hotel - especially behind the desk - are awesome! Tatiana and the gal with the dark hair/red tint (can't remember her name - sorry) stand out from the crowd. Brian the manager at Rafters too! I had a nice stay and they helped answer my daily questions about how to get around via bus/trolley. Room was great, nice size, desk area, heated tile floor (yes!!!) and if I could have fit the bed in my car I would have tried to take it home. Super comfy! Thanks awesome people and I will be back for sure!

Nice accommodations, good location and price. Will come back during ski season.

went for 1 day. Got a good deal online. My 10 year old son had a blast. Great location. Being right next to the parking lot kind of sucked . Would recommend this to others however if I go back I will try somewhere else

The Sierra Nevada was a nice stay. Rooms were clean. Good location. Staff was friendly. I liked the sign with the bears climbing up it.

Traveling to Las Vegas the location of this hotel was perfect! Nice big king bed, coffee maker and small fridge in the room. The restaurant of the hotel served really good quality food!

Enjoyed our room with an upscale cabin feel. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Nice amenities, especially for families. Not our case but still had fun with miniature golf. Came back to Mammoth after a quick stop years ago. Loved the bike trails, sights and hiking. Did not use internet so no experience to be able to rate.

I didn't like the service and the room was not clean. My average experience with this hotel is like 2.

For the money that I paid for this hotel/(apartment complex?) I was expecting something better. The A/C was unreasonabily loud, the tv got horrible grainy picture, and the hotel parking lot was poorly lit. If I am ever in the area i'll most likely stay elsewhere.

Excellent location, however it was not accesible due to weather conditions.

Clean rooms. Not too big at all but comfortable.Rooms are clean. Common area could be neater. Kids club is good enough. Sunday night kids club at the main lobby was fun for the little ones with board games. Aware of expensive Resort fee/per night

Stayed here for a snowboarding trip in Tahoe and the place had everything you could ask for. Great way to come back and spend time after shredding the whole day. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly.

We go to Mammoth every year with the family and decided to try this motel. The staff was very helpful and the location is great but the motel is lacking amenities to be called a resort. The beds aren't comfortable and the TV has very few chanels to choose from. The decor of the bathroom is nice but the shower lacks pressure and the hot water ran out quickly. The strength of the motel is the lobby which boosts a nice bar and fireplace. The property lacks security. All entrance doors are unlocled. Sorry, we will not be back.
