Perfect spot to stretch out trip an extra day after friends had to leave our condo. Kitchenette was perfect for simple dinner.

stayed from February 26th to March 3rd, 2017 for Mammoth Lake ski vacation. There was a ski plow (John Deere) plowed the snow right at the my window 2:00 a.m. every night/morning, there was no fresh snow, instead the driver just moved a snow from one pile to another pile. I complained to the hotel management (front desk), and he told me it was a city plow, and nothing they can do. I even called the cop to complain about the noise ordnance, but never got any resolutions. I noticed the same John Deere tractor parked in the parking lot doing nothing during the day. It is a clear case of abusing overtime and tax payer money should stay at the resort (village)

How is it we felt like we were in a foreign country? The staff spoke only in spanish to one another. Bed was horrible, tv got 7 channels, toilet continued to run non stop after each flush.

Everything was good- big rooms, garage, indoor pool, continental breakfast....but it is old...but nice

Old facility but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice large King room. Old TV with poor clarity, better to use your tablet or computer with the good wifi. Dirty dining room.

This is a great hotel, and I have stayed there many times. It is comfortable, but feels like you have entered the 1980s when you get to your room. They need to redo their rooms. Although they are in decent condition, it is an older hotel, and it can be costly when it is peak ski season or holidays.

Close to town and shopping, breakfast could be a bit more expansive

The hotel didn't have any air conditioning in the common areas, including the hall ways. Seemed a little strange and warm for the summer. The door to the pool weighed more than an average adult. Not sure if it was broken or if this was intentional but either way it needs be remedied. The sheets were dirty and had large stains on the sides of them and the bathroom had a strong mildew smell that never went away.

I am so happy I discovered this hotel! And mad at myself for not going there before. All these other hotels that advertise pools and so and you get there and the frozen pool is outside... And Shilo has a warm water pool, open 24 hours !!!! The staff is amazing!!! The rooms are big!!! I am so so so happy, I will always go back there!

I was harassed by a very rude and aggressive staff member while preparing to leave the parking stucture.

The Shiloh Inn is conveniently located as you approach Mammoth, and very easy to access the town and ski areas, including June Lake. What we found really useful were the ski lockers (down stairs), the underground parking, and the hot tub (don't forget your swim trunks / bathing suits). One day the facility was short-staffed, and we missed our room cleaning service (but towels and soaps were readily available). It happens... we loved the skiing.

The hotel is good. Good breakfast, big room w fridge and sink Staff is nice and helpful Not sure they changed the towels when requested

The redeeming quality of this motel is it's pet friendly but there is an extra charge. Other than that the rooms are adequate good for after a long days hike.

Hotel needs updating. It's been a long time since I have been in a hotel that still uses keys. I must admit we put the chair up against the door at night. Spa looked dirty as well. TV was so small I had to put my readers on to see it. And the bed was very uncomfortable. One of the lamps didn't work and the electrical outlet used by the bathroom sink didn't work as well. I wouldn't stay in this place again.

The hotel provides a complimentary parking place, but it's little bit dated. You feel like in 70s. The radio in my room remembered me my childhood - or even I had a better one.

The furniture is like from 80s. A radio in our room remembered me my childhood.

Everything was great but not a breakfast room. We liked the pool and the rooms. It was quiet.

We stayed at the Shilo for sat night of the labor day weekend 2014. The hotel was easy to find after our long drive. Great facilities, super clean room and friendly, fast and simple check in. more impressive considering they were fully booked, the place is clearly well run. It's great for kids, we have a 7 year old, and has a family atmosphere, nice indoor pool and spa as well. We got a call 30 minutes after unpacking asking if we had everything we needed. A very nice touch that is rarely done these days. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, very much like a Homewood Suites style set up. We will stay here again for sure.

We needed a place to sleep. That's it. This worked. We could walk and grab dinner, drinks and do a little shopping and then hit the road quick the next day.
