walls are paper thin. people staying upstairs arrived at 11pm and walked around continuously until 7am. we weren't able to sleep at all. you can hear everything from footsteps to doors closing to light switches turning on and off to people sitting on their bed. you get what you pay for. the room was really nice, clean and well decorated. but the point of a motel is to sleep. and with the non-existant insulation and depressing tenant quality, i would rather sleep in my car than ever stay here again.

I’ve stay here many times with no issues, but the room I had, 130, was the worst I’ve had at this facility. The shower head doesn’t stay up, so you can only use it by holding it with your hand. The bathroom fan is loud. The hangar doesn’t fit in the rack properly so if you nudge it by accident it’ll fall off.
Just the straight forward needs you’d expect from Motel 6. Clean rooms and beds. Hot water. Nice staff. And location close to shuttle, and good food across the street. It was high season so we had to pay the higher $$, but cheaper than most comparable hotels.
We specifically booked a 2 bed room as we had three adults. Not much available in Mammoth that night so $300 (259 tax). I booked on Orbitz and specifically chose a room with 2 beds. I did NOT check my reservation as I was driving in the snow. Arrived to find Orbitz confirmed a 1 queen bed option. Nothing else available I was stuck with this for 3 adults. Both the hotel and Orbitz pointed fingers at each other and did nothing so far. NOT OK - I use an intermediary like Orbitz to stand up for me. Absolutely horrible room- the bedding made us feel like something was biting. It smelled of cleanser and felt gross. I would understand for $100 but $300 is robbery With that kind of money the facility should be better. The room was equipped as a one-bed wheelchair-accessible room and bathroom, which was spacious for someone needing a wheelchair but was not appropriate for our needs. This important type of accommodative offering is normally clearly described. The room we selected had none of these specifics - Ie, someone conveniently switched our room from the one we selected to one that had been left unbooked during snow season. And yet, no one has done anything to remedy this. It is wonderful, however, to see that Motel 6 DOES accommodate wheelchair accessibility - having elderly parents, it's often been difficult to find motels that accommodate such. So I give them the benefit of that and a few points there. Though, it really should be much cleaner.
The room that they checked us in was above the electric room and super noisy with the floor shaking and smelled a lot like spilled chlorine. I told the office about it and they gave us a different room right away. It was great and with no heavy chemical smell. Thanks for being accommodating!

Room was clean and had all the basics. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors at even a normal conversation level, but thankfully they weren't up too late. Our go-to for affordable lodging during peak season.
It is nice to be able to park right in from of your room, if it's available. This location is right around the local shops many options to choose from. My room nice and clean. Shower pression was great. The media port for the TV did not work.

it is a good value considering being in a ski resort. The rooms are fine but small when bringing all the ski gear. Some rooms have micro and refrigerators. The coffee maker in the room is not worth using, very simple. You brew in a cup and t is very weak. The bathroom is ok but has and old toilet with no lid and a pool of water in it. The location is fine, walking distance to Village, gondola and restaurants. The parking is fine and close to the rooms. The rooms aren't sound proof so bring earplugs in case the upstairs guest is noisy.
