Great stay best hotel in Yerevan clean and courteous people

This is a great hotel, located in the center of Erevan. Close to everything you will ever imagine to go and to see. Loved my stay there.

Hotel rooms had a poor lighting system and the table with chair is not comfortable to sit and work on. Service was awesome! Hovhannes Anikyan from front desk was amazing, helped me to settle down, answer all my questions!

The Marriott is situated directly in Republic Square and within easy walking distance to the Opera House coffee houses which are open until late at night. The food in Yerevan is wonderful and portions are large. There is also a famous restaurant serving traditional Armenian food, called Dolmamas, which is nearby and delicious albeit a bit pricey. Apparently, Hillary Clinton dined there a few weeks before us. Armenia is a beautiful and historic country. Unknown to many, Armenia became the first Christian country in the world in the year 301. The museums in Yerevan are full of wonderful treasures, but personally we found the scenery and landscape within Yerevan and the surrounding area even more breathtaking. The cost of tours and food is quite reasonably priced and the scenic places are not crowded with tourists yet. Within a short drive of an hour or two the landscape becomes dramatically different and utterly spectacular. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The streets felt safe even late at night with families that had small children strolling around together.
