Nice overlook of the river. Quiet. Good location. Not many food choices in town

quickly checking , quite room , good hot breakfast.

We were a little disappointed with the hotel conditions when we got there, it is showing its age. The rooms all had their own entry points and the bar was in a different building as was the main lobby and pool area and restaurant. The bar was perfect, bar tender was nice and drinks were cheap. The breakfast at the restaurant was good but it was a buffet line and when we got there it was already empty so we got the last of like eggs and had to wait for the rest, along with many others.

This hotel was a great place for the price...Staff was accomadating.

Worked great as a base for spending the day in the park. Had a family of deer making it their home as well.

Nice view of the river, breakfast was at Yellowstone Mine restaurant next door which is nice. Definitely recommend

Free breakfast was great! The room was nightmare. Bad smell, shower head was broken, noisy. The worst was tons of flies.

Very nice stay with great view. Need more parking spaces.

Staff was friendly and helpful, view was great, breakfast was outstanding.

This was a typical older motel with room doors walking out to your car. There was nothing wrong with this place but it is certainly not a 5-start hotel. It has obviously been remodeled and maintained and everything was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was in the adjacent restaurant and there was a good selection of hot foods. There was even an elk walking around the parking lot and some people approached too close.

The hotel was very comfortable and our room was nice. We had a King Spa room and the spa consisted of a sunken tub with spa jets. My problem with that was there was no railing around the tub from the bed side. I worry that someone who had to go to the bathroom during the night could possibly fall into the tub. Don't know if it has ever happened but I would worry about that. We had an excellent breakfast up at the restaurant. The laundry was nearby and very handy. It was further from Yellowstone than I would have wanted but I got used to the mountain road getting there.

Fantastic river view, close to Yellowstone National Park north entrance. Would recommend hotel to anyone who wants to be close to Mammoth Springs.

We went to yellowstone national park for 3 days and we tent camped the first few days and by day 3 we were ready for a hotel. This hotel is beautiful, right on the water with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Yoy are only a few miles from an entrance to yellowstone through mamoth springs. You can check out the boiling river which is close to the hotel in the park. Lots of places to eat around the hotel, with friendly front desk staff and clean rooms. The free breakfast was at the hotel attached ans was pretty decent too. I would stay here again if I went to yellowstone or Gardiner! !!!

Mind you, I usually view other's negative hotel reviews as a bit fussy. What can be bad, after all? Upon checkin, the lady at the desk made her darnest to let us know that the fact that we booked two rooms, one using agency and one directly was a pain for her. On the second day, my daughter spilled some coffee on a towel and put the towel outside to be taken. We got a call minutes later: "Do not put towels outside. If you want new towels, please call. And just so you know, I'll have to bleach that towel you left". On the third day we left at 6:30am in a rush to make it to yellowstone before dawn. I left a camera case, a battery and a shirt on the bed. I got this note (see attached): "Sorry, I could not change sheets - too many personal items on bed - have a great day". Wow - would have taken her less time to remove the items. Seems like someone is not treating employees nicely and they are taking it out on customers. Will not stay again. Ever.

This hotel has it all, great rooms, great breakfast, great resteraunt next door and the staff was great. Doesn't get any better.

Located at the north entrance of the park it is only a 5 mile drive into Yellowstone. The rooms are basic and cramped but lodging in Gradiner is limited. You can find whatever you might need while you are there and even enjoy some whitewater rafting too. Overall not a bad stay but I have stayed in nicer Best Western's.

We felt like captive tourists. The hotel was expensive. The recommended restaurant, which was unofficially attached to the hotel, was expensive. We liked everything but felt as though we didn't get enough value for the money we spent. Oh, and without my knowledge the hotel processed my credit card to make my reservation pre-paid. Yes, I was captive.

very close to yellowstone entrance, great views, guests get 10% discount for breakfast buffet at resturant next door

My husband and I travelled with our grandson (age 13). He loved the pool, we loved the hot tub spa. The hotel was very nice, with a very helpful staff. Having breakfast at the hotel would have been better, but I would recommend the hotel to others.

Our reservation was lost, and the hotel was fully booked, but the staff were really helpful in trying to resolve the matter and we ended up staying in a room that they keep unoccupied in case such emergencies occur.
