Just across the square from the train station. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good clean rooms. Rooms with flimsy curtains which didn't bother me but was an issue for some other guests. Didn't have breakfast. Only £27 per night.
Hotel is in excellent location. 200 m from Railway station, and 100 m from subway. Center is about 2km from the hotel but is easily reachable with subway or with tram. Few supermarkets are near hotel. Front desk staff are friendly and professional. But rooms desperately need renovation!
It is located just opposite the Train Station, it is basic Hotel. We choose the upgraded rooms as we have read bad reviews for the non-renovated rooms. The staff at reception did not spoke any English and when we asked us to recommend a restaurant, they send us in a wrong direction, in an area without many lights and a little dangerous as it was late night. Breakfast is very basic and they offer the worst coffee I had ever had
We experienced very warm August weather in Yekateriburg and the room was just okay for us with the electric fan placed near an open window. The room was spacious and practical in it's layout and rudimentary appointments. Service in the restaurant was okay but nothing special.
Conveniently located with respect to the railway station, the hotel probably derives a large part of its popularity due to that. Average rooms, no frills whatsoever. Leaking bathrooms. Breakfast is good and the travel desk, subject to language barrier broken, is helpful. Cars can be hired quite conveniently. The view at night of the station from the hotel is nice.
Stayed 1 night, is located opposite the railway station. Reception very large and staff friendly and most speak English. The lifts were smallest Ive ever been in, difficult with luggage and 2 people. Plenty of water fountains on each floor. Breakfast was included and selection of foods, but coffee was very slow and long line. Room overlooked railway square, clean with comfortable bed. TV and WIFI. Bathroom clean and toiletries and slippers.
It is the worst place ever. We got a twin bedroom overlooking the railway station . No air conditioning in the room..... We had to keep the window open for ventilation and it was too noisy . The curtain also had to be kept open . Misleading advertisement on the net. There is no room service and no swimming pool .
Location is great for train travellers as the property is located opposite of the train station. Free laundry service was a superb extra, no underwear allowed though. We got an upgraded room without asking and it was neat, clean and there was no bad smell. Breakfast buffet was extensive, but not of a high quality. Everything tasted bland and hot items weren't hot enough. Reception staff were friendly enough and helpful with our inquiries. We paid a few euros for half-board, the four course dinner was very basic and portions were on a small side, but for the price paid, it was fair enough.
I booked a single roon using the Internet at this hotel. When arriving there I paid and was given the key to my room. It was shocking! A bed with sheets and cover (all fine) a desk and a small TV. The worst was that it only had a net curtain in front of the window and was really very basic. Imagine trying to sleep when the sun sets at 10 pm and rises at 5 am with no curtains!! And the smell in the corridor was really really bad. I went to reception and asked for another room. On paying for the upgrade I was given exactly the same type of room with curtains and some wall decorations. The towels were threadbare and torn. I feel that this room cost me more than what it is worth. I could have had a room at a more upmarket hotel for the same price. I did not require anything fancy as I was travelling solo, but I think they overcharged me and also the advertising on the internet was a misrepresentation. On the upside - the staff were very friendly and helpful. They could communicate without fault in English.
Pre booked online for standard twin - not what was expected. If anyone stays here make sure to book the upgraded rooms. We did get some curtains but needless to say we were not offered a free upgrade! Otherwise, location is fair and at least sheets were clean to a good standard. Awaiting to see the outcome of the free breakfast tomorrow...
