The hotel was very nice overall the waitstaff was attentive and the rooms were clean. The only complaint I have is the way I was treated when I tried to get towels this was a particular employee who stumbled out in flannel pants and shirt and told me I couldn't get towels. Location close to target was a very big plus and it was close to a recreational dispensary that I used to pass my time.

This place was clean and quiet. My only complaints were that the heat pump did not seem to be able to keep up with the cold weather--the room was rather cool. Breakfast was very limited, so I went to Starbucks.

Stayed 3 nights for high school reunion in September 2016. Good location in downtown Yakima. Room was clean and comfortable.

I was looking for a low-cost place to spend a couple of nights while at a conference at the nearby Yakima Convention Center. This motel had the best price by far and was very conveniently located. The staff were friendly and the breakfast reasonably good. The room was clean, but rather small and, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, it smelled like smoke when I checked in. They promptly offered to move me to a different room. The room next door was occupied by a family with at least two children and a dog. Every time I entered my room, midday or evening, one of the kids was sitting out on the walkway playing and the dog started barking, They were pleasant enough but it made it feel like this was "home" for this family for the duration, which was a little depressing.

Good price, fairly clean. Old beds, old bedding, fine if you just need a place to crash.

Cigarette burns on couch, rugs; bathroom door cracked, mold stains on floor

Arrived late, staff was pleasant and friendly. They didn't have any coffee in the lobby and there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Lobby closed within 15min. of our late check-in. The room had 2 beds, a small desk and chair, tv, microwave and fridge. Not a lot of space and very little space between the chair and the tv and the beds. The beds were the most uncomfortable and hard as a rock. Woke up constantly throughout the night because of it and ended up with sore back in the morning. The shower was a decent shower and the water was hot. The lobby did have a continental breakfast which included waffles, yogurt, plain bagels, 2 kinds of cereal, English muffins and eggs, diced bacon and cheese that you could make yourself some kind of an egg sandwich. Coffee (which was horrible), milk, orange and apple juice were available also. Could not connect to the WiFi all weekend, which was a major bummer especially in this day and age. If you just need a place to crash for a few hours of sleep this would be just fine, but if you NEED a good nights sleep, this is not the place for you until they replace the beds. (unless you like a super firm bed)

Perfect for price, had everything I needed .. Very spacey n very comfortable

The breakfast was great and had many options. The room was clean and tidy. Great for staying a night or two.

First of all I travel a lot for work and I have never seen such a complete friendly staff. Front desk and housekeeping staffs made my stay great. The hotel is a nice quiet smaller hotel. The location is nice with easy freeway access.

I WAS PLEASED TO FIND THIS OUT OF THE WAY MOTEL AND FOUND THE ROOM CLEAN, ADEQUATE AND QUIET. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

The cleanliness and freshness of the room was top-notch, a better experience than what I expect from a 2-star motel. Yes, the rooms are fairly compact and accessible from the outside, but that's standard for this class of an inn. Check-in was speedy, no paperwork to fill out. The only thing is the $1.50 "safe fee", which you need to remember about, if you don't to be charged with it. Generally, there was nothing wrong with this inn.

Very clean and nice. not too close to activities but was good for me because i was on a business trip

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and we always enjoy our stay. The hotel is clean and in good working order. There is also a free continental breakfast. We first stayed here when the other hotels in town were booked up. I'm glad we found this one! It's a low price for a clean room with everything in working order. It's better than some 3-4 star hotels we have stayed in! I'm so glad we found this hotel and we plan on staying here in the future! In my opinion, there's no need to pay a ton for lower quality at other hotels.

The ratings looked OK, based on the average price. However, if you stay in Yakima, pay the extra money to get a good room. The double beds were so bad they hurt, the breakfast was less than poor, only one bar of travel-sized soap in the room, and the location behind the Target store was noisy.

Yakima changed the name of the street and our navigation system was out dated so we had to search for the hotel. It is a good location and the room was OK. The bed was good and we slept well. The breakfast was good and included a make your own breakfast sandwich with egg, ham and cheese. Overall we were satisfied with the price we paid.

Great location right off the interstate and walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was good, staff very helpfull. Will probably stay there again.

We had a great experience and always will stay here in the future. We have family here in Yakima and basically just need a clean safe and friendly place to spend the night . Located in a great location. Evening cookies are great. Breakfast is fine coffee and a selection of quick items to go with.

heater wasnt that good and the $100 hold on cc for 13 days is extreme

This is my family's 3rd time at this hotel. We like it a lot since it's close to downtown, clean, inexpensive, and comes with very good breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Guesthouse Inn is our place to stay when we are in Yakima.
