We had 103 I believe; it was quiet; we did not eat breakfast there but it was available...we would return..while there were a few areas that needed fixing, the bed, pillows and covers were wonderful..ye gads, I did not want to get up! Lots of hot water and god psi; towels were white and plenty of them. Windows were adequately darkened when I pulled them to turn in...
nice motel, clean Rooms, staff was accommodating and helpful , Heater, T.v., Wifi everything works great. Breakfast was fresh and good. Near to the downtown and it way better in comparison to other motels in town.
I stayed here for three nights while I was visiting Yakima - I probably should have picked somewhere else. The Good: Incredibly helpful staff, good Internet service, refrigerator and microwave in the room, plenty of cable channels to choose from. The Not So Good: The motel is run down - needs upgrades from bedding to carpets. The bed sagged so badly I woke up regularly in agony. The pillows were so flat, that even doubled over and put together they did not add up to one regular pillow. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of mediocre waffles, OJ bad coffee, cereal, and white bread for toast - no bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. They should just skip even advertising that they include breakfast - I stared at those same 8 pieces of white bread each morning when I grabbed a cup of juice and just laughed. Super friendly and helpful staff, but until this place gets some updating, I'd look elsewhere.
Nice motel, very reasonable, quiet other than normal traffic. Clean, unpretentious. Staff was wonderful, check in a breeze. No coffee, hair dryer or iron in room...missed the coffee! Did not eat breakfast as their coffee maker was not working 😩.
Dirty bathroom tile on wall around tub, fan was so thick with dust, that it could not function - appeared to not having been cleaned for many many years. bothered my asthma, so couldn't sleep. woke up with, SEVERAL BEDBUG BITES all over !!! I showed them to front desk help told him I was going to leave this review. Room was mildew musty smelling, bothering my asthma all night. Very old furnishings & cabinetry, except for the bathroom. Breakfast was very disappointing. Milk was left sitting out, not refrigerated, barely cool. STAY AWAY !!
We have stayed in scores of hotels and motels and we've seen it all! That said, this is a very good motel for the money. It had everything we wanted and needed for a budget price such as a pool, small-ish refrigerator, microwave, and large flat screen tv, along with a king size bed and the other usual amenities. Oh, also a good breakfast is included. Easy to find in the middle of town, nice, friendly staff. When visiting or passing through, give this a serious consideration, especially on a budget.
The ONLY good part about my stay was Paul, the desk attendant, who did his absolute best in attending to my concerns and comfort. He is blameless in the following. The neighborhood was run-down, boarded-up, and literally crawling with homeless people, prostitutes and drug traffic (fun fact: I encountered the hotel maintenance man while on a walk one evening, clearly spun out of his head). The details of my reservation that were entered on the TripAdvisor site were not entered into the Econolodge reservation and had to be double-and-triple checked at my 1:19 a.m. check-in. The rooms were not completely clean. The promised amenities were either non-existent, non-functional, or completely inconsistent. I was upgraded to a king room at no extra charge after complaining about the high amount of traffic. This room was nicer in some respects, but the sheets were inside-out and had hair in them (clearly from the dryer, but really, UGH). Neither room had all of the amenities that were listed on the Econolodge and TripAdvisor websites as standard. The free breakfast was passable at best, and the tables were filled with clearly homeless people enjoying the free coffee, OJ, milk, pre-packaged sugary pastries, 2 types of cold cereal, and waffles. If I could give this a ZERO review, I would do so. Again, Paul, the desk clerk, was the ONLY positive part of my entire 3-day stay. He kicked out problem guests after I complained and upgraded my room free of charge.
Feels pretty run down even though they say there are newly renovated rooms. Came back at 4:00PM and the room hadn't been cleaned. Had to go ask for toilet paper and the guy didn't even say sorry for not cleaning the room - must be standard policy if you're staying two nights. This one will go on my "never again" list.
Good price but the room needed a lot of work, missing drawer, hole in wall where electric outlet should be, leaking bathroom sink. The tv had no remote but the hotel manager quickly brought us one and set it up. It didn't work the next day however. Lack of electric plugs meant I had to run an extension cord across the room for the wife's C pap. The water was turned off mid afternoon without warning. If we'd found this room on the Alcan we'd have celebrated, especially at this price.
There is a refrigerator, microwave & tv in units. The AC unit is noisy, the dead bolt on the door did not work. The bed was ok. Shower pressure was good. No coffee maker in unit. Staff are not very friendly. Breakfast includes juice, coffee and packaged pastries. Safety at the hotel is a concern. Population in the area is sketchy. Would definitely think about another hotel option for the future.
