We stayed at the EconoLodge for three nights since we competed in a race at the local Yakima Speedway. The staff at the Econo Lodge are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable. Freshly painted, new floors, clean sheets!

Nice and clean rooms. We came here to see our family . The staff was professional and accommodating. Kids loved the small and sparkling pool. They are doing lots of remodeling. Would like to stay here again next time also.

I only gave it a 4 because it's not finished yet. We stayed here one night. New owners are sprucing up an aging motel. The room was smallish, as was the bathroom, but the two of us didn't feel cramped. Everything was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and wasn't too loud. The new owners are very accomodating. There isn't much room in the breakfast room, so the owner gave me a tray in case I wanted to take breakfast back to my room. She did this without my asking, and was very anxious that I be comfortable. There is a full breakfast avaiable. Another reviewer said it was in a bad part of town. It's not the best section of the city, but I didn't see anything disturbing at all and felt perfectly safe.

The main room was small, the bathroom was small and there was limited area for hanging clothes. What was most important to me was that the room was fairly inexpensive and the bed was comfortable, because I spent little time in the room. The room also came with with a breakfast which I found marginal due to the selection and the cramped space at which it was served. The biggest plus I found was the the friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff.

Well this hotel is not in a good part of town there's mostly drug activity up and down 1st Street but it happens to be one of the busiest streets in Yakima along with Yakima Avenue there's only one real good restaurant real close to this area which is Red Lobster other than that you're about 2 or 3 miles from grocery store or other restaurants but people were very nice I was treated very well and I didn't see much going on at this hotel I would recommend it for the price and for what else is around that town I would have to say it's one of the top ones on 1st Street😴😴😴😵

Super helpful & friendly staff (Awesome people). Hotel Building is old but rooms are very clean remodeled & smells good. Had a very pleasant stay on comfortable beds & spent lot of time in the pool. Staff persons are gems for this hotel. We feel like at home, i would like to recommend all whenever they visit Yakima just try Econolodge.

Third rate at best. The whole experience felt like a big scam from the price quote on the phone differing from the front desk clerk charge, to having to complain about the noise in the room above us many times, it was an unaccomadating stay. If YOU HAVE A CHOICE BETWEEN YOUR CAR AND THIS HOTEL CHOOSE YOUR CAR!!!!!!

We had 103 I believe; it was quiet; we did not eat breakfast there but it was available...we would return..while there were a few areas that needed fixing, the bed, pillows and covers were gads, I did not want to get up! Lots of hot water and god psi; towels were white and plenty of them. Windows were adequately darkened when I pulled them to turn in...

nice motel, clean Rooms, staff was accommodating and helpful , Heater, T.v., Wifi everything works great. Breakfast was fresh and good. Near to the downtown and it way better in comparison to other motels in town.

I stayed here for three nights while I was visiting Yakima - I probably should have picked somewhere else. The Good: Incredibly helpful staff, good Internet service, refrigerator and microwave in the room, plenty of cable channels to choose from. The Not So Good: The motel is run down - needs upgrades from bedding to carpets. The bed sagged so badly I woke up regularly in agony. The pillows were so flat, that even doubled over and put together they did not add up to one regular pillow. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of mediocre waffles, OJ bad coffee, cereal, and white bread for toast - no bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. They should just skip even advertising that they include breakfast - I stared at those same 8 pieces of white bread each morning when I grabbed a cup of juice and just laughed. Super friendly and helpful staff, but until this place gets some updating, I'd look elsewhere.
