The Fish Hotel

Fabulous

Beautiful place. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bar staff who did not know the food service schedule and sent me on an unnecessary trip into town for food when the bar menu was actually available. Otherwise, great!

Abbots Grange

Amazing stay!

Abbots Grange is so beautiful! The hotel and the grounds and painstakingly maintained. We stayed in the Millet Room, which overlooks the front of the property and the car park. If you want a more private room, one facing the back of the house may be a better option. We still greatly enjoyed the Millet Room because it was so pretty and offered a bathtub. The breakfast was exceptional! Guests can enjoy fresh croissants, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, cereals, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit, teas, coffee, and juices, which are set out in the breakfast room. In addition, guests choose the hot meal items they would like to have each morning (eggs, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato, salmon, toast). Everything was delicious and plentiful! The hotel also offers teas and coffee, plus cake and cookies every afternoon, as well as sherry and port wine in the evenings. Guests can enjoy the beautiful great room and its roaring fire each evening while sipping a glass of port. We had a truly wonderful stay!
