While holding my monthly meeting at The Days Inn Tewksbury I was verbally abused by a male guest who was staying at the hotel. He barged into the private meeting room on the 2nd floor and hurled a barrage of 4 letter swear words at myself and my team regarding the noise we were making while he was trying to sleep in a room below us - As I pointed out to him at the time it was the Hotels poor planning of having a meeting room that is hired out for meetings of upto 20 people during the day to be directly above a room they hire out for night works who need to sleep during the day !!!!!!! the hotel staff who were on duty that day did not defuse the situation by explaining the problem and did not offer to move the gentleman instead they allowed him to come upstairs and hurl abuse at me and did nothing but ask us to keep the noise down !!!!!!! you try holding a monthly performance meeting for a team of 12 without making any noise - THIS WAS AN APPALLING SITUATION.

This accomodation was much improved on last year, some of the rooms have obviously been upgraded and the shower actually worked as opposed to last year. Rooms are a good size and the bed is comfortable.I would recommned staying here if you are on a journey and wish to take a one or two night break

Great receptionist, nothing was a problem, clearly described how to get to 3 counties show ground using a map that I could take away. Made us feel very welcome and confident that should there be an issue she would be approachable and able to deal with it. I had the best sleep ever, in a largish room. Liked there was 3 cups and planting of coffee etc on the comfort tray. Nice touch having biscuits for the dogs on the foyer! We stayed Saturday 28th April...and have to reiterate your staff are the key....well done that receptionist!

This facility was very lacking in maintenance in that in our room we had a very very noisy fan in the toilet along with a hot water tap that would not stop running . A few of the standard TV channels had no signal.

There had obviously been a flood in the bathroom as the floor was like sponge and uneven. This room should not have been used until the floor was sorted out as it was dangerous.

The Days Inn was clean and well maintained and the chap on reception was both professional and friendly .

Arriving at night, this is so badly signposted we ended up having to stop on the service road with juggernauts thundering past us. There's a huge lorry park next to it. The two staff we encountered during our stay were undoubtedly very friendly & helpful - they admitted that people often got lost. Leaving the place in the day, you even have to drive through a road with a "no entry" sign. That aside, our first night was OK. The room was basic. My first impression was that it was clean but the bathroom shower had a fixed head, my pet hate. The room backed onto the motorway but there was a high grassy bank behind so we weren't that troubled by noise. However, the bathroom floor was collapsing, soft & spongy. The receptionist said that leaks in the toilet system had caused it. Plus, the toilet seat fell off! The next morning, I was surprised that there are no breakfast facilities at all. You have to walk next door into the motorway service area (there's a fair choice there though).. We asked if we could change rooms for the next night & this wasn't a problem. We were shown a room where the bathroom floor had been replaced & there were new bathroom panels. It was, however, freezing cold so we had to wait a couple of hours for the room to warm up in the snowy weathered, it was just a wall mounted, fan radiator. We would never have chosen a motorway inn but we were in UK for a local family celebration over the weekend & many of the hotels nearby were booked due to the Cheltenham races. It's fairly obvious the place is run on a shoestring & the staff (I stress were lovely) have multiple roles. I wouldn't stay here again.

A reasonable price, a comfortable hotel and GREAT staff for whom it seems nothing is too much trouble

Days Inn do the job for us because they are very reasonably priced and allow us to take the dog with us. This one is situated back from the motorway and there was surprisingly little noise. Very pleasant and helpful staff made our arrival cheerful and or check in swift. Useful services next door. Very basic hotel but ticks the boxes for an en route stopover.

Stayed for one night to break up a journey , pleasant staff at check in with a map showing us the quick way over to the south bound side. Bedroom clean with small tv, hairdryer, double bed and sofa. Bathroom a little tired but clean and great shower. Bed was extremely hard, and uncomfortable so much that decent sleep was not possible- one of us ended up on the sofa! Also quite a lot of noise from the car park area with car alarms , people shouting etc. A decent place to stop over though with services on your doorstep for food
