Great Room, love the bed and comforter, nice people. Breakfast food needs improvement.

Average 3-star hotel. The only downsides were: breakfast was limited and not restocked (go early or yogurt and fruit are gone). The Tavern next door has good food, but on Wednesday nights they have a LOUD live band playing. I needed to get up at 4:30, and didn't appreciate the music playing until ten.

Very nice. The hotel shares a parking lot with a restaurant which made parking difficult after returning in the evening.

Front desk staff terrible, rude, impolite. The hotel manager didn't want to do the service recovery after the complaint. He was ok for us to find another facility

I was pleasantly surprised by the size, furniture and cleanliness of the hotel. The receptionist was friendly when I checked in. At 5:30 - 6:00AM, (it was still dark out), there was a few repetitions of extremely loud banging sounds. I called the front desk. The receptionist said: "I don't hear anything. No one else has called to complain. I see red lights. It must be the garbage truck. Sorry. (sarcastically)." Then immediately hung up. I verbally notified the manager who apologized in a placating and disrespectful manner.

Very nice rooms, good size and nicely set up. Friendly staff, Only drawback was some what minimal breakfast options.

This was a ok hotel I've stayed in worse ones. My only complaint is that the cleanliness of my room felt unclean and the room in general just felt outdated. The staff was great.

Over all the hotel is nice but their complementary breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Though probably not a regular occurance, there were several really loud and disconcerting conflicts in the hallway on our floor that happened around midnight and 5 am. This kept us up at great length and didn't seem to be dealt with by the hotel staff. Very uncomfortable.

Easy to get in & out of, right off I-40, easy access to all of W-S without getting lost. Rooms have the essentials done right, but nothing extra. Very comfy bed, plenty of pillows - an issue with me. More breakfast than you can eat, nice looking pool, friendly desk people, plenty of parking.

Room was clean. However the television did not work properly some channels would go out and others had no sound. The first night it was loud with children running up and down hall and slamming room doors. Had a hard time falling asleep.

For a three-star hotel it is excellent value. The staff are great, very helpful and accommodating. The complementary breakfast is very good, laundry facilities on site, free wi-fi and use of computer with printer. Would definately recommend.

I was assigned a smoking room. I couldn't bear the foul air quality of that room. I asked for a different non-smoking room. The hotel staff said that the reservation restricted me to that room and that a change was not possible. Something is wrong either with the reservation system or the hotel.

The La Quinta is a perfectly fine family hotel. It's just what you would expect from this hotel chain. The one bed was comfortable and clean and the amenities were adequate - hair dryer, microwave and fridge. The pool area was well-kept and pleasant. My only complaint - it is a dog-friendly hotel and we heard constant barking from the rooms. At one point, a staff member had to come outside to the pool to find the owners of the dog - unsuccessfully. It would be helpful for there to be a "dog floor." All in all, it was a good experience.

Right off the highway, close to the mall and very convenient. Quiet and mostly clean.

Room was comfortable and clean. Courteous and friendly staff. Location close to everything. Disappointed that there was no lotion provided with the guest care items.

Pillow top bed very comfortable, lots of pillows. Room temperature easily regulated, black-out curtains as well as sheers. Breakfast good. Elevator slow, but stairway is nice. We have stayed here over several years, and the room we had this time was showing a little wear, but quite clean and pleasant.. They don't give you hand lotion, so take your own.

Great value, good price. Staff were cheerful and helpful at all hours. Hotel was about 2/3 full. My single-queen room on the 2nd floor was well-maintained, clean, & spacious. Comfy bed & fluffy pillows, clean sheets, wide sofa, large desk and credenza, clean bathroom, good sized closet. I made use of the fast free wi-fi, plenty of free parking, and decent complimentary breakfast (bagels, toast, waffle bar, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, etc). There were even 3-4 internet stations for your laptop in the lounge. Also, the hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem, in a nice suburban area with plenty of nearby shopping. It's also right next door to Village Tavern, one of the best restaurant/bars I've been to in a while - good drinks, awesome food, great atmosphere. I have no complaints about this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation.

This is a really good hotel for the money. We showed up late and the overnight lady that checked us in was very friendly, and extremely helpful.

Don't get put on the 2nd floor by the stairwell - the door to the stairwell slams every time someone passes through. The staff wouldn't move me as the hotel was "going to be full" for the weekend. I didn't find that very cooperative. The breakfast is satisfactory and location is good for shopping.
