Good hotel for short stay and if you have pets with you.

When we checked into our room, We were surprised at how seedy the room looked. The paint was old, mattresses sagged in the middle, a dingy bathroom and the room smelled when the A/C Heater was turned on. Definitely not worthy of the Howard Johnsons brand. We requested a change and was told that for C$10, we could upgrade from STANDARD to a SUPERIOR QUEEN ROOM. We did and what a difference! The SUPERIOR ROOM has been beautifully renovated and the room did not smell! One caution: no elevators. This review is for the STANDARD ROOM. For the SUPERIOR ROOM we rate it a 4.

The room was tiny. The bathroom sink, tub and toilet were all different colors. And it was tiny!! The sinc was a single sink held up by two metal legs. No room to put our toiletry bags in the bathroom absolutely no counter. The bed very uncomfortable and it squeeked every time any movement was made. Which kept me up. The drawers had a marble top- again outdated. One of them had a corner chunk missing. There was also an old musty smell in the room. Just yuck and never again!!!

The room was over priced for what I received. The bathroom was postage stamp sized with nowhere to put toiletries without relocating towels etc. The other guests were noisy up to 1:00am, I suppose due to the proximity to the casino. I'll look for an alternate when staying in Windsor.

There was not enough seating area for the breakfast

good good service breakfeast excellent good acces

THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN,MAINTAINED AND IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR EVERYONE'S NEEDS.THE STAFF IS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL AND THE ROOMS ARE UPDATED AS IS ALL THE HOTEL.

The bathroom suck, the bed suck, the room suck, so dim and dark and just not comfortable.

I like the hotel, but the location is not very good, because is far from downtown. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. Just the breakfast is not good, also has no variety, and nobody explains how things work.

They had to call Orbitz to confirm my reservation because I had to change it prior to checking in, meanwhile they took other customers before us and made us wait even longer. Also, the air in the room didn't work very well so the room was humid and smelled terrible!

Expection: When there are 2 guests there should be 2-coffee packs, 2 cups, 2 cream- 2 sugar -2 no sugar sweetners 2 tea bags. Night 1- One coffee no cream Night 2- No replenishments at all As a security depeosit they ran my AMX for authorization of $50. At check out they did not want to return or destroy that authorization??? Made no sense to me why they would want to keep it. I wrote void and had a copy made. Reception seemed put off but its not her credit card...

We did a little sightseeing, shopping, and gambling not neccesarily in that order.

very good friendly and curtius
