Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brattleboro

Though this was a routinely nice Holiday Inn, the incredible smell of bleach/chlorine permeated everything! The hallway (most likely from the indoor pool) was almost unbearable from the moment we entered, and it followed us into the room. The towels smelled highly of bleach. I am not a particularly sensitive person to smells but this ruined our stay and we couldn't wait to leave. Disappointing for a $200 per night room.

In town for SIT graduation. This hotel has great quality and clean rooms. Any issues quickly fixed. Great, helpful staff. Breakfast fresh and constantly replenished. Location well lit at night. Indoor pool. Even have free cookies and lemonade every afternoon. Will definitely stay again.

Spent two night with my 14 yr. old grand niece. This is our third visit to this hotel.

Excellent staff. Everything there to make for a comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Needed extra towels and were acquired with no questions asked. Will stay again next time I am in the area.

The beds were extremely comfortable. It was nice having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was very good and included in the price. The hotel has a gym and a pool, but we didn't check them out.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful at all times. The room was clean and comfortable and the fitness room was adequate.

Great stop for overnight. Got an upgrade to a suite. Very clean including the shower and shower curtain. Nice free breakfast . Downside, little too cluttered with 2 beds in that one room with one bed up against the air conditioner and the coffee table was in the way of walking through the room. Otherwise, very nice for the price

While breakfast is "free" or included in the hotel feel, it really wasn't anything special about it. It was "just okay".

We stayed here for 2 days during our short skiing trip to Vermont over Christmas. The lobby was festively decorated and the staff was very nice. The hotel was pretty empty because of the holidays, so it felt like almost everything was for us alone! Overall, nice hotel. Clean rooms, pretty big pool (which my little sister loved) and very hot jacuzzi (which is awesome after a day of skiing), decent gym. The continental breakfast was good, too. I can't say that it tasted great or was very unique, but it was everything you can expect. The location from Mount Snow is not bad either. It took us about 40 minutes to drive there from the hotel. I recommend!

we found one hair on one of the pillows!guess that bad wasn't changed before we arrived.

I liked the location - easy access to shopping. The A/C was noisy and even though I could only see trees out the window, I heard traffic from the highway. Would have liked a shower cap. I passed on the breakfast. Coffee was terrible and the food, basically sugar/starches. Nothing fresh or healthy. Price was good.

This hotel was very nice. I'll stay there again for business.

Ok, the positives are that it was clean and the staff was friendly. Also the breakfast was good. The negatives are the bed and pillow which were low in quality and the towel was like sand paper. The pool was ok and the hot tub jets did not work. I would say 2.5 out of 5.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was private and quiet.

Overall, a nice place. The pool area had no clean towels, had to make 2 trips to the front desk and finally got 6 towels, { eight people in the pool area}. Breakfast was supposed to be a strong point but the pancake maker was broken, no meat offered other than luke warm sausage gravy . Also poor watered down juices.

We stopped here just for a quick overnight as part of a road trip. Very convenient to the highway, solid breakfast relative to your expectations, really slow elevator. Everyone very nice and accommodating.

Everything was great, except the sauna/spa that reeled us in did not bubble and the heater was not working. However they did discount 10% since the sauna was in disrepair. Above average breakfast (included waffles, eggs, and sausage).

The hotel was in a good location, we spent the weekend hiking and the hotel was within a handful of miles from several hiking areas. The staff was nice, the breakfast was very nice. The room was clean. It was a little pricey. The major disappointment was the pool and hot tub. We were getting away for the weekend from the kids, going hiking and looking forward to the pool and hot tub and was disappointed. The indoor pool was cold and the hot tub wasn't much warmer than the pool and the jets didn't work.

experience was very good. i recommend it to anyone. right off highway

One night stand passing thru with family. Fine clean room, complementary full breakfast - eggs, sausage, etc. just OK. Staff very nice. Good value.
