Colonial Motel And Spa

Great service. Great breakfast. Hotel is well maintained but older.

Strange place, nice frontage with great little restaurant and pub in front. At first your pleasantly surprised for a $60 dollar hotel. Room was ok for the price but the shower drain did not work and the smell of cigarettes was so strong that my eyes were burning in the morning. Classic dive room. Behind the motel is a great gym and lap pool which appeared to be operated by a different company, many locals swimming and working out.

Wasn't pleased that the hot tub/pool had closed at 7:45, otherwise the room had two large comfortable beds, was big and clean, carpet looked good, heat was good, tv was big flat screen, wifi worked fine, coffee in the office was not good and no decaf. Bathroom was clean though toilet was a bit old and decor was woodsy.

Cleaning, some fresh paint & a vacuum would do this motel well

Nice spa, buffet was a full breakfast with scrambled eggs bacon sausage and cornedbeef hash

The location is easily accessible from Brattleboro. The rooms aren't grand, but comfortable, clean, not cluttered.

Or stay was quiet and comfortable. The room was large with everything we need. It isn't fancy, but just what we needed for one night.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Friendly staff. Bed was so comfy. Slept great. Would stay again. Would recommend.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel right outside of town with a great indoor pool and gym. It includes a nice buffet breakfast with choices of eggs, french toast, bacon, homefries, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruit salad, muffins, juices and coffee. It looks and feels more like a motel then a hotel, though, so if you are looking for something really cozy or well decorated this may not be the place for you.

Great deal. Looks old and small from front entrance, but it is clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Nice spa facilities. The attached restaurant/tavern has great food and staff. The only downfall is that though they say they include breakfast, beware that it is just cereal, toast and muffins. And putting a jar of peanut butter out for open sharing is not healthwise. I could only think of kids licking a knife and putting it back in the jar for more...Please Colonial - get individual packets!

From the moment you walk in, the fireplace is burning in the lobby and the front desk staff welcoming. The rooms are a bit older but very clean. I appreciated the environment friendly policies they use. I love the dispensers of lotion, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms verses plastic containers. The hotel is centrally located with a restaurant in walking distance. Easy access to the interstate and downtown. I have stayed here on and off for years, will always recommend.

Owner a I assume the people at the desk were owners or family of were very accomadating. The room was old but clean I have no complaints

I recommend this hotel highly. Conveniently located but quiet.

It was pleasant. Everyone was friendly. The room was large and clean. I had an enjoyable stay.

We spent two nights here and it was great. The room was huge and had a refrigerator and microwave. We were traveling with our two boxers and there was plenty of room to set up crates and bedding, as well as a large area outside to exercise them. The place is not new or luxurious but it suited our needs perfectly!!!

A bizarre mix... yay- breakfast included, nice staff, indoor pool, sauna. Nay- hair in the tub(which they cleaned willingly) Tavern just closed recently, leaving no restaurant on premises,,, hot tub not working, and a few shifty characters around the hotel(tenants?).

Went there for Tough Mudder weekend. Cozy motel. Not a bad price. Good service.

The motel was adequate but the bed could have been more comfortable. I travel regularly and it was my first time staying at the Colonial. If the mattress was more comfortable, I would consider staying there again.

Front desk was friendly, informative and helpful. Room was spacious, bathroom was adequate. Temperature when we arrived was cold so we turned on the heater, which warmed things up quite quickly. We turned the fan to low and the temperature down repeatedly, until we finally turned it off. Throughout the night, I woke to turn it on...too hot, and off, too cold, so No one slept well.

A comfortable and clean motel with attentive staff.
