Super 8 Front Royal

I didn't have big expectations but it got to be very unpleasant when I requested a non smoking room and I was place in a non smoking room but the strong smell was filtering under the door. It gave me a terrible headache. Thankfully, I was given a room in the 3rd floor which wad outdated but clean.

Super 8 Motel was pleasant the room clean the breakfast more than adequate. We liked being so close to the places we wanted to visit which were on Main Street and Chester Street. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. She gave us tips on where to eat and we were very pleased. The motel had maps of Front Royal for guests to take--a bonus! With it we could drive around and get a feel for the town--which is why we went. We wanted an idea of the place.

Basic hotel with basic services. Not new, but not old or dilapidated either.

Nice, comfortable, just what was needed. Cost was great, friendly staff. Good stay.

We wanted a place close to Shenandoah National Park and that is exactly what we got. Inexpensive place to sleep when everything we wanted to do was in the park.

We booked this hotel because it allows pets. You get what you pay for. Basic amenities and simple breakfast. On the plus side our room comes with a refridgerator. My only complaint is the room wasn't as clean as one would like when you check in. However I was happy room service vacuemed daily (major plus when you have a german shephard in your room). Good location in Front Royal very close to Skyline Drive.

This motel is very outdated in the lobby and rooms. The bathroom is so small that you literally have to step all the way around the commode to shut the door. We were not impressed with the continental breakfast. Just enough food offered to make it legal..... two types of dry cereal; white bread for toast and thawed frozen waffles for the toaster. The wrought iron fruit stand was empty behind the sink. No queen beds were offered...so we settled for two double beds for three people. We usually like to pay around $60 for an overnight stay but this was $80. We will avoid this place on our next road trip which we follow this route often going north and south.

It was a good, clean hotel and was very close to skyline drive. I would stay again.

Hotel staff was the best! I felt welcomed and taken care of quickly and efficiently at check in and check -out. I made reservation while in route, 15 minutes from Front Royal and paperwork was ready and waiting when I got to front desk. Location was easy to find and had good signage. Room and hotel area was neat and clean. Free Wi-fi , color TV and breakfast were welcomed sights for a lone, weary cross country traveler.

I founf that the hotel need it a bit of renovation on the bathroom

Would not stay in this hotel again, beds were uncomfortable, rooms not really clean. The breakfast room was way to small, we had to wait for some time for a table and the breakfast was not good at all. We have stayed in hotels with the same price at a much higher quality. This was propably the last stay in a Super 8. We have left earlier, than planned.

The whole place smells of smoke. The interior halls were not air-conditioned and it was about 90 degrees inside except for the Lobby. The room was cheap and not very comfortable. I asked for a non-smoking room and they booked a smoking room. Fortunately they were able to change this for me although I could still smell smoke in the non-smoking room. I would not recommend this hotel unless you get a very good price and you need something very close to this location.

The breakfast was not good. the lobby needs to be remodeled. Needs more for breakfast.

We tried to get a cot put in the room, but it was something they didn't offer. The manager gave us a huge "break" and weren't we lucky he was there that late... We ended up paying an additional $22 for a larger room with a pullout sofa. Both rooms reeked of smoke, including the blankets and comforter. THe sheets and towels, bathroom etc were clean. We didn't try their breakfast, chosing fast food, which was across the street. I guess you get what you pay for.

VERY NICE WILL STAY THER AGAIN. WILL ALSO TELL FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT THE MOTEL

They allow pets, thankfully. Hotel was clean, convenient to all local stores, resturants, sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. The cost is reasonable and they even have a free continental breakfast. They have free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Since they allow pets, there is a slight smell in the carpet which could be eliminated with sprays.

We've stayed here before and have always been satisfied. Good breakfast in the morning.

Very small bathrooms. The hair dryer did not work.

The Super 8 Motel provided good, clean, and safe over-night lodging.

We always spend too much money on hotels we only sleep in so this year we went budget to save money. This was a better than most budget hotel with limited amenities. If your looking for a place just to sleep in this area, this is good. Front Royal is small so any hotel is as good as another location wise, although there is limited dining in the area if you want anything but fast foods. The only real complaint was the beds were as hard as rocks and if that is a concern of yours do not stay here. No pool, but they have an internet station. Continental breakfast was average with the picture shown being the dining area. If you are looking for a budget hotel in Front Royal you could do a lot worse. It is clean and quiet.
