The motel is very interesting and modern design but due to that the sounds from outside and next door carry too well. Had difficulty sleeping .

Okay for low prices but you can literally hear everything in your room so we did not sleep well.

We booked this room for a quick getaway. Previously, this was an Aloft hotel: it was pet-friendly, clean, decent bar, etc. There was no advance warning of the extensive construction or newly imposed pet fee of $25 per night. Thankfully we were only staying one night and it was too late to argue this or find another place to stay. There was drywall dust everywhere, even in our room (so clearly not vacuumed prior to our arrival), we had no washcloths, no hand soap bars near the sink-just body lotion, one of the flush buttons on the top of the toilet was missing, and the bathroom just had an “off” odor—not sure if it was the water or the drain. The rooms aren’t numbered. Some had little paper numbers, but ours didn’t. We had a room number sign that was facing backwards just leaning against the door. The emergency evacuation plans were not affixed to the door, but shoved in a small “closet” area inside of the entryway. Not sure if I’d feel like hunting that down if there was an emergency. An attempt to call the front desk was made impossible by the lack of extensions on the in-room phone. The doors here SLAM shut, and if you’re surrounded by inconsiderate guests, you will be woken several times throughout the night. You won’t need an alarm clock because they’re all slamming starting at 7am. The only somewhat decent part of our stay was the complimentary continental breakfast. Sadly, after dozens of trips to this hotel, we will be staying elsewhere after this.

No sign with hotel name. Under construction and name change. During the night if the bathroom light is turned on, it shines like daylight in the bedroom.

We stop here often. We always have a good experience.

room lighting was horrible low wattage possiblebly to conserve energy yet there was ac powered window curtains, phone only worked on speaker phone its possible that the lack of good lighting is meant to hide the dirty carpet and flooring

My kids loved the pool table! The decor was fun and the room layout unique (loft-like). Friendly staff. Nice location. Probably one of the best hotel options in the area.

The room was clean and quiet. I liked the simplicity of room's furniture and over all layout.

Everything was great clean and staff were eager to assist with information

No complaints, really. Great bar tender, good drinks, room was clean, very modern. The bathroom had a great shower, nice tile and full glass door. You spend a bit more than a Motel 6 or Super 8 but for that extra bit of money, you rid yourself of that stale motel smell, and the overall ickiness factor where you dare not walk barefoot on the carpet. Breakfast was cheap and my egg sandwich was excellent.

Hotel was ok. Location is not grand. Also for a non smoking hotel the Lobby/Bar smelled HORRIBLE!!!!!

The hotel staff was very helpful. I needed to eat early and have a late check out due to running a race that morning. The staff did everything to make it as easy as possible for me.

Awesome place but the employees ,ie MANAGER and other employees playing pool while guests want to play, and a BAD STENCH in the Hallways? Other than that Awesome place and cool.

Loved this hotel. Great fitness room. Wonderful staff.

Hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious. The shower is somewhat weird...there was a fogged plastic window that you can somewhat see through from the room...so that could be akward.

The hotel is very eye catching and we were very excited showing up at it. It is a very modern style architecture, but very cool. Complete with the XYZ Lounge in the lobby, free pool table, wii console in lobby, and slightly heated indoor pool. The only two main things that could have made this hotel better would have been a Jacuzzi and some kind of free breakfast atleast for that price. During our stay we kept waiting to be abducted by aliens; the rooms are very modern and cool. We had fun exploring the room and figuring everything out. Our hotel room had several different kinds of soup in it. The blue soap that was kept next to the bathroom was amazing! It felt good, it made you feel clean, you could feel the solid soap sceubbing and cleaning your hands as you washed them. I would have loved to see this soap also in the shower, that would have been a wonderful experience. The shampoo/ conditioner in the shower along with the soap in there was okay. It was a great stay; Thanks Aloft for making our trip!

Stayed over last weekend here. Overall this is a very good location plus amenities wise pretty good. Room - loved it. Staff was ok. The concept of aloft is very appealing to me. The only draw back were the thin walls - could hear neighbors very clearly and the low water pressure at the shower. Otherwise very good. But a bit too expensive for $100 a might for a place on the outskirts of old town Winchester (it is 5 miles or so) definitely recommend albeit with a lower price.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. When I checked in, everything about the hotel was explained to me. I was asked what floor I preferred and the view I desired. I had a beautiful view of the mountains from the top floor. The room was comfortable and very, very clean. I liked that I could plug and play my iPhone, laptop, or even a gaming system. In the lobby, you find a quaint little bar, a pool table, computers, and a gaming system. Down the hall is an indoor pool and fitness room. If you have questions about the area, there is a touch screen computer that will guide you to what you are looking for. This was one of the best stays that I have ever had at a hotel. The price was just right for area. I will definitely stay there again when I want to get away from the city.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We love the "loft" modern look and feel of the place.

My first time at Aloft but I will definitely book there whenever possible. It is new and modern in a spare, boutique hotel style. The toiletries were upscale and the towels large and soft. Very soft bedding. They will give you a cable so you can watch tv on the large flatscreen from your laptop. Free wifi with a strong signal. Pets stay at no extra cost. The room decor is sort of industrial/funky which I liked, surprising since I tend to be a traditional gal. The location is outside of downtown, near the other major brand hotels and right off I 86. It is a short 5 minute ride to downtown. With the discount you get a 3 star hotel for a 2 star price. I was very satisfied! No free breakfast but free-trade coffee and tea are always available in lobby. There is a bar in the lobby with a pool table and live entertainment. A fun, relaxed atmosphere all around, and Winchester is a great city to spend a weekend in.
