It is very intimidating when you pull in and there are drunks hanging out on the walkways, then when you enter you room and discover that 4of the 6 lights aren't plugged in because there are no out let's cockroaches I went 26hrs. Without towels after maid took what I had, then I had to beg for towels and then wait another 6 hrs to get them. Drunks yelling and banging on doors at 1 am. For 30 min.had to call front desk no clock in room microwave had to be moved to counter from top of fridge. So it could be plugged in only part of fridge that was cold was the freezer where I kept water it never even got ice crystals after 48hrs. No I would not recommend this place to anyone

Comfortable beds. Microwave & fridge. Exceptionally friendly staff. Room was a little stuffy when we got there. Stayed three days.

Thank you I will not stay in this motel next time I am in Wilmington and will not recommend to anybody. The staff was friendly and professional. The motel itself- not good, but you have a cheap service for a cheap dollar.

My experience was good. It was easy to get in and out of and the people was friendly.

The property was very dirty overall. They said we would get an renovated room, the room was very dated and dirty.

Always check the area around the window. My initial room was loaded with black mold. I took pics and showed desk clerk...he said "we'll take care of it" and never changed my room. I waited for the next shift which was after midnight and he switched my room immediately. The overnight and day clerks are marvelous! They are the reason I have more reservations here. I'll be sure to request no service from housekeeping next time because of overzealous housekeeper! They barged in two mornings in a row. Good rate and easy access to everything.

Needed a cheap place to sleep for a night and this suited. Night clerk very responsive about changing batteries in smoke detector. Most lamps not working but the essentials did. Awkward plug for phonecharging. Dangerously hot water!

My husband and I planned a visit to Wilmington to see our daughter who had recently stated to school at UNCW. This hotel was near her apartment and centrally located. All we really needed was a place to sleep and shower because we planned to be active during the day. On the first morning, I needed to dry my hair but found no hair dryer in the room. When I went to the desk, I was told that there should be one in the room and they had no extras. They made no effort to accommodate this need. The breakfast bar was very skimpy and we never ate from it. The coffee we tried to drink was the worst I have ever had. You can tell that the hotel is old and has had little upkeep as evidenced by the poor condition of the refrigerator in the room. The room was straightened and re-supplied daily. On the morning of our departure, I did see a couple of roaches around the trash can. Good thing we were already leaving that day.

Right downtown, cheap, but a pretty tired place. Everything was old. Clean, just a tired old place.

Needed to be close to airport for early morning flight. Is a dated motel, but for the price can not complain. The front desk were very friendly and arranged the morning taxi.

As expected, this hotel is basic. When I was there there were some sketchy looking people both staying in the hotel, and hanging out near one of the room entrances. It may have been the days I was there, or it may not. On a positive note, it's close to the bars downtown, and the staff was friendly.

Room was clean and spacious. For the price, it can't be beat. I work in construction so amenities and service matter little. A clean, comfortable bed is worth it's weight in gold after a long hard day.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it is ok. I do wish they had a microwave/ fridge combo in each room though.

Had to request another room due to the fact that our non-smoking room had been smoked in, still had cigarette butts in the toilet and sink. The room looked and smelled like it had been used just minutes before we walked in. Also, even though it was posted that locals weren't allowed to stay in this hotel, it was pretty obvious that more than half of the guests that night were locals. We did not feel safe one bit. Because we were not allowed money back, reserving 3rd party, we were stuck in the room w/o a remote, tv didn't work, bad electrical issues, door didn't shut completely & we pushed a chair against the door. The staff was friendly, food gone before we could have a chance to get any breakfast, the towels were fresh. No pool like advertised. But, we got what we paid for and only needed it for a few hours. Quiet.

everything was ok until we noticed the vanity light was out reported it at 6pm still wasn't fixed at 8pm and then realized the phone didn't work when we tried to call the front desk. walked up to the desk 3 times before telling them at 10:15 pm to forget it we were tired and going to bed. Apparantly they had already forgotten about it. This was a big inconvienence and no one including the manager seemed to care. Did I mention no tissues in the room, discovered that in the middle of the night.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very nice and the room was comfortable. The only thing that did not work was the telephone in the room. Overall, the stay was great and I would stay here again.

we only went for an overnight stay to go to the beach. room was ok except for a running toilet, remote did not work, and no light bulb working.

When I got to my room, I turned on the light switch and nothing happened. So I entered a dark room by myself and tried to turn on the table lamp and it didnt work, so I went to the wall lamp and that didnt work either because it didnt have a light bulb. I had to go in the bathroom to turn on the light. I had to call main desk for some light bulbs. Really! and the hotel was not in a good part of town.
