Our hotel experience was awesome and the area around the hotel had a lot of food choices the room was clean the staff was amazing and I would recommend anyone going to wrightsville beach to stay there....

This hotel had friendly people, but it needed some tlc

My husband is in construction and we were staying here while he was on a job. The hotel seemed to have a lot of construction guys there. Got the room for $41 on line so you get what you pay for. It is what you would expect from a working man's hotel. The towels and sheets were clean, TV had some channels, and fridge was cold. The room however smelled and the carpet was filthy. If your going on vacation, spend a few more backs and get a nicer experience. if your working and just need a place to crash, it works.

The room was typical 2 beds. It came with a mini fridge and a microwave which was really nice for leftovers. The first thing we noticed about the room was that the nob for temperature control was broken. The staff was kind of helpful and they came up which needle nose plyers and set it to the coldest setting. That would have been fine if the hotel had given us a blanket. we got sheets and the thin cover that is supposed to cover the blanket and sheets. Our bed had sand in it and I had to once again head to the front office to ask for new sheets. I peaked into rooms while they were being cleaned and noticed that the lady didn't take the sheets off if the bed wasn't slept in, so I'm assuming the people who stayed in the room before us cleaned up and made the beds and tricked the staff into leaving the sheets on that bed. The guy at the front desk was helpful and brought new sheets, but as he was running the front desk, asked if i could dress the bed. I told him it was no problem. He was helpful the next day when I told him we were going to the beach. He told us were to park and when to get down there. Overall we weren't there for the hotel, but to spend time enjoying the 4th of July. If you're like us and just needed somewhere to sleep, this is a good motel, just bring your own blanket!

didn't expect much from a 2 star motel, price was good, smelled like cigiarate even though it was a non smokeing room, but you get what you paid for, a cheap place to sleep.

It is a very unsafe hotel. There were thugs outside all night, my gf was heckled on the way to get ice. There was a woman below us screaming and finally was arrested. I will never go back to this place and you should not go either. Find a safer hotel.

Got a King bed room. Had a nice stay for 2 days. Got room for half the price of the "nice" hotels all with refrigerator, microwave, 42" HDTV, coffee maker, hair dryer. Continental breakfast wasn't very good. No donuts, just blueberry muffins. Would stay again to save money.

I was in Wilmington during Labor Day weekend to explore the town and was looking for somewhere to sleep. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for just a place to sleep which is why I chose this hotel. I arrived around 10pm on Friday. Check-in was quick and Bob, the front desk clerk, was friendly. The room was well-worn with spots on the carpet but seemed to be generally clean. Sheets and towels looked clean. Bathroom was ok. There was no shampoo which I had to get from Bob. After about 10min in the room, noticed small roaches that seemed to be all over the place, also, I could hear some kind of argument going on in the adjacent room. I immediately went back to the front desk and Bob apologized and quickly gave me another room. The new room was still somewhat worn looking, but was clearly a step up from the previous one. It was generally clean, and had better furniture and bathroom…and no bugs! Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not accessible in my room because the signal was too weak so I had to use my air card. Overall, these accommodations worked for the purpose of my trip. Bob at the front desk was friendly and able to quickly resolve the major issues. This made a big difference in the quality of my stay.

This was okay for the price of the room, but the room was cleaned very late in the day. I would use again !!

It was okay, nothing great. But it is right next to a movie theatre and a Sonic so that's cool.

we weren't there for the hotel, only needed a place to sleep so this worked. not fancy if that is what you are looking for, but it works.

You should remove this motel from you list of places to stay. The room was drenched with some kind of air freshener that was so strong - our dog would not willingly enter it. We had to drag him with his choker collar ! It was supposed to be a non smoking room- but was not - None were non-smoking. I almost had an asthma attack. Also- at 2:30 A.M.- a "female escort" knocked on the room door until my wife got up--she claimed she was called to meet someone there. We got up and left- gone by 3 A.M.--Horrible place-- ripped curtains- burn marks on bedspread- holes in wall - toilet so tight against the wall either of us could barely sit on it after removing toilet paper from the holder on the wall--only 1 set of towels-very dirty conditions. Very, very disappointed---no other local places had rooms available- Would have been better sleeping in our vehicle. REALLY TRULY VERY BAD !!!

It had cockroaches, the tub did not drain and there were syringes in the parking lot.

We would never stay at this location again. Something was wrong with the door lock/key card system so that during our four-day stay, we were only able to enter our room without assistance from staff twice. Every other time (this was multiple times per day), our key card would not work or the battery in the door lock was dead. So we had to go to the front desk and ask for help from the unfriendly, unsympathetic, unapologetic, and ultimately unhelpful staff. These characteristics were also true of both of the managers that we dealt with. There were also holes and stains on the sheets, and the toilet became clogged during our stay. During our multiple waiting periods outside our door (waiting for someone to come help us get into our room), we encountered many other unpleased guests. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else - anywhere else.

Hotel was ok, but at night it became sketchy. At 12:00 midnight there was loud bass coming from a car that was hanging out in the parking lot for over an hour. Almost called the police. Toilet backed up. I wouldn't stay there again. Great location though!

Had to change rooms because the first room was dirty!

Our family made a trip to Wilimington for a family reunion / 75 Birthday my children and spouses and their children are travelers came in from Florida and New York I have to say the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a resort this is not your hotel however very centrally located. Great value.

They said it had been remodeled room was straight out of the 70s bathroom was nasty

hotel fine pool was located at other owner's sight room new @clean stay fine for the price would stay again

bed was kinda uncomfortable..but other than that it was well priced. clean.
