The staff were very friendly and also helpful. The room was very dusty and alot of the furniture either had broken handles or big chips in the wood. Behind bed was dusty and dirty. We check there upon arrival for bed bugs. There were none. Carpet was dirty but the bathroom wasn't too bad. The main lobby was very dusty in the morning during the breakfast. The breakfast good and taken care of nicely. We do not believe this hotel should have a 4 rating.

Stayed here during our first trip to Wilmington. Room was spacious and clean, staff were super pleasant, and it was comfy.

Nice hotel close to places to eat and places to tour and just a short drive from the Wilmington River Walk. It was clean, with a responsive, friendly staff. The only think that keeps it from being a complete 5 is the air-conditioning unit . It was impossible to set it to maintain a consistent level of comfort. It worked, but the way it worked either caused an uncomfortable draft or got too hot.

The room was clean and spacious, and also a really good value. The desk staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The only flaw was the shower did not work well, and we did not use the shower until close to check out, so there was not any time to request a different room.

The front desk person was very kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious. A good price. The breakfast wasn't that great, but it's free (included).

Great location! Room was really clean. Staff was great! Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area!

Everything was good about the hotel, with the exception of a VERY noisy heating system in room 212. It was an old fashioned baseboard unit, and it made intermittent loud noise like an old washing machine. I wear hearing aids, so I was able to sleep, but if your hearing is keen, you would have a problem. Otherwise, the accomodations were clean, attractive, and comfortable. The desk staff were helpful, there was a grab bar in the tub, the buffet breakfast choices were good for my diabetic diet. Among the offerings was unsweetened oatmeal in a crock pot, plain vanilla yogurt, unsweetened cold cereal, cold hard boiled eggs, fruit, peanut butter, and whole grain toast. I have stayed in hotels where almost every item was made of refined carb and most had too much added sugar. The staff person kept everything freshly stocked and immaculately clean. I was there without a car, and it is a 15 minute taxi ride from the train station--so that turned out to cost $60 round trip with the tips. There is a strip of chain restaurants just up the driveway, so meals were within easy walking distance. I had a fabulous lunch at Famous Dave's, but could have selected The Olive Garden, Friday's, a steak house, or Red Lobster. There are also some places that deliver food. The Concord Mall, with additional food outlets, is within walking distance. There is a Kruig machine in the room, stocked with Green Mountain pods.

The Inn has become dated and neglected. While the staff was pleasant, the accommodations were not: clean but threadbare linens, broken lampshades, dirty carpeting throughout, broken ice machines on two floors, and a poorly supplied breakfast. Deterioration from the previous year is quite clear. Sadly, we will not stay there again; it was poor value for the cost.

This hotel was okay, especially for the price. Its beginning to show some wear and tear, like the broken ice machine, business internet computer and the coffee dispenser. The hotel was almost full, it seems a shame that the second floor guest had to go up to another floor just for ice. The rooms were cleaned, but with the humidity occurring during my stay, I wish the staff would have left the air conditioner on while we were out.

My only concern would be that the room was too small.

Not bad for the money. Room kinda packed tight with everything...no real room to move. No sink in bathroom, it was out in the main part of the room (tiny bathroom). Room was clean but had a smell of "BO" when we walked in. Breakfast was average to below average. I've been in better but have been in worse as well. The kids loved the pool next door.

Staff never fixed safe or tub never eniught good at breakfast

We found the location good, close to restaurants and shops, and also convenient for visiting our family in Pennsylvania. Also, the room was suitable and comfortable fo a couple, having both a bed and a 2-person soft sofa.

Hotel is a bit dated, but, most comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. Several restaurants walking distance.

Everything was very nice. The breakfast was bit disappointing. Every morning was creamed chipped beef and buiscuits. No eggs.

The room was conveniently laid out and clean. There were no issues with the lighting, water or electricity which seems to be unusual these days. The bed was quite comfortable and it was nice to have a separate sitting area. Included breakfast was adequate, not great. The location was very convenient - near stores and restaurants.

Asked for another room upon arrival. Carpeting in room was old and stained. Bath tub soap dish and drain were broken. Second room was a little better but not much. Room keys would not work. Had to replace six times. Paid for dish tv. Came back to room to watch debate. This channel as well as others would not work. Watched the debate on our phone. Overall this stay was much less than average. Will stay at Doubletree next time.

It was perfect! Would go again shopping is all around and food places also guilt for resting!!

Prompt check in. Courteous staff. Clean room. Excellent accommodations!

Rooms were nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.
