Very clean room and comfy bed and bathroom. Perfect location for activities in the Adirondacks. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance and several excellent hikes are within 5-10 min drive.
The room was beautiful and clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and they were awesome about us having our pup with us. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at the Cadence Lodge. This is a two star hotel with a five star treatment. Shelley and her staff were incredible. They were extremely courteous and a pleasure to interact with. They met all or our needs, no matter how small. I did not realize that the delicious breakfast was included in our stay. Breakfast is freshly made to order. The room was very clean. You occasionally get a bug or two, but you are surround by the woods, so you can't not expect that. The room was a good size, bed comfy, and the bathroom sparklingly clean. The lodge was in a really beautiful and convenient location. You are just a few miles away from the Veterans Memorial Highway and the Whiteface Ski Center. Only 15-20 minutes to Lake Placid. There is an amazing farm and wildlife refuge we had the opportunity to visit. Highly recommend that! The restaurants surrounding the Lodge were all good, but we have to give an extra shout out to Rudy's Chalet, they knocked it out of the part with their taste and ambiance. We will be coming back to the Cadence Lodge in our next Adirondacks visit :)
Great clean rooms, friendly stuff, great location, only 3 miles from Whiteface mountain.
Place was great, and VERY dog friendly. For a place that's set up really as a "motor inn" type of setting, which usually is "few frills," Cadence was actually an inexpensive, unassuming setting but had more than only a few frills. The hot breakfast was great, the room was very clean and well stocked, the grounds were well kept, and the vibe of the place, the owners, and the other guests there at the time was just very friendly and relaxed. Also, during the pandemic, it was nice to be 10 miles from downtown Lake Placid, because downtown was rather crowded. Everyone had masks on and followed the COVID guidelines, but it was nice to be able to go back "home" to a more quiet, sparsely populated place. The Adirondack Chocolate place next door is a must! Not just chocolate...jams, maple syrup, souvenirs, etc.

Cadence Lodge was great and the owners were very personable and pleasant. The lodge was in the midst of some updates but even still it was quaint and really had the esssence of the Adirondacks while being priced right. We would definitely stay with them again. Highly recommended.
Great experience overall. Would definitely return! If only the mattress were firmer; too soft to be good for the back, though.
This property has been updated with quality materials and feels brand new! The staff was very accommodating and gave us several menus for nearby restaurants. The rate was most competitive with all the other motels. My GPS could not locate the property - which is Walking Distance from the North Pole Santa’s Amusement Park! So look for the North Pole Park and the Cadence is next to the Kitty Cornerfrom the Park.
Fun little motel. This is a must for anyone who is up there mountain biking. Back banquet/ bar area is really relaxing.
