This is an excellent hotel, especially considering the very reasonable cost. My room was large, clean and inviting. The staff was always ready to help with any of the little problems (and probably with big ones, although I did not have any) that occasionally arise. This was the home of the Little League All Stars and the nostalgia was definitely there. I loved it. I would highly recommend this hotel for groups or individuals. I stayed for two night and would have stayed longer if my schedule had permitted. All in all -- a grand bargain to satisfy everyone's needs. Steve Winter Little League World Series, 1951

My wife always wanted to stay at the Genetti and we decided to check the area out one weekend. We enjoyed both a farm market and another city festival within walking distance. Good restaurants close by, too. Hotel was fine and loved the old photos around. Breakfast was a little disappointing but overall I think we would come back and stay there.

Nice hotel in downtown Williamsport. Classic decor, we love the glass doorknobs! Room was spacious, but the bathroom was tiny. Great view of Williamsport and countryside from the 7th floor. All of the staff was helpful and friendly

We checked in, and because it wasn't terribly busy and our first time staying, the front desk clerk upgraded us to a Jacuzzi suite. The king bed was comfortable, and the room was tastefully decorated. The hotel is located downtown, near a theater and arena venue and across the street from an exceptional brew pub. It also has a pub inside the hotel. It has great, old photos of famous (and not-so-famous) guests. Pictures show the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Interior in a ballroom meeting, and then there are pics of presidential candidates and stars like Gene Kelly. A fun mail drop sends your postcard from the top floors to the bottom (kids will love it), and breakfast was great. If you like McDonalds over a local burger joint, skip this place and the negative review that will come with not appreciating charm over predictability. But if you like cool, old hotels and want an alternative to mediocre and overpriced chains, this is your place. It's clean and comfortable, and we intend to return.

What a nice weekend . The staff is so helpful Rooms are spacious breakfast buffet has everything thing on it one of the best experiences i have ever had in a hotel

Rooms were dirty and dingy, tiny, horrible experience will never stay there again and neither should anyone else.

Looking for old world charm and found old world. Small window low natural light bed was very good as was wireless. Bathroom is where it got to me. Breakfast was very good eggs made to order.

My room at the Genetti Hotel was quiet, spacious, clean and well-maintained. It's not a bland, anonymous chain hotel, and had a nice personality to go with it's convenient downtown location. The staff was friendly and helpful. A stay includes a great free breakfast that has something for even the pickiest eater. There's a great brew pub (The Bullfrog, I believe) right across the street.

was in town for a funeral...very helpful front desk...williamsport is busy because of marcellus shale business...rooms are sometimes hard to get..i like the old time feel of this place

well myself & significant other have 5 children we never get away so this was random for us but we had a wonderful stay what really set our stay off right was the customer greeting card it was enlightening dinner was great & our continental breakfast was fab we plan on another get away n march for 2 nights this time so we will make this our get away spot thank you for your hospitality shawna lathan

Was in town to visit family. Got a great rate on the room and when we got there we where up graded to an even better room for the same low rate. We would leave in the morning to visit folks and come back at night and the room would be spotless when we would return.

Hotel was nice and located in a great spot, close to our sons school. However, the parking lot both nights were packed due to events being held at the hotel, so it was hard for us, a paying customer, to find a parking spot. Also, we were not pleased with housekeeping - our towels were taken that we would have used again, then NO towels were left in the room. Our room was not vacuumed, there was dirt on the floor the first night and we found OLD cheese curls under the bed as we were leaving.

When we turned down the beds that night there were pubic hairs all over the sheets of my daughters bed. We were moved to another room with only one bed, so I got stuck sleeping on a couch.

Thank you for sharing your experience and giving us a review, We are sorry our breakfast buffet was disappointing for you, most people rave about it. Was there something in particular lacking? We like to receive constructive criticism so that we can improve.
