Overall was not happy with out stay. The elevator was out of order and the 2 nearest stair cases was also out of order (missing steps). The landscaping was not up to par compared to the neighboring hotels. The pool had many repairs done to it that it had patches on the floor which was very graveally and not smooth. There was so many surrounding things that needed repair. So not welcoming at all.

Room has a old smell and need to change bed sheets.

Frankly, from the outside the motel looks horrible. Broken (and dangerous) stairwell, broken furniture outside, trash, I'd probably not have stayed if I'd just stopped by looking for a room. On the inside though the rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, the TV, fridge, microwave worked fine, and the bed was comfortable. Only real issue was lousy wi-fi.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Dirty walls dirty towels. Grounds were discusting

I enjoyed my stay at the Travelodge. When booking the room, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. This is a two star hotel. When staying at a two star hotel, I am simply looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep at good value. I rated this hotel a perfect rating not because it is perfect, but because it met my expectations. I have stayed in other two star hotels around Williamsburg that were not kept half as clean. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked and I slept well. The staff was polite. The place is a bit dated but if you are looking for a place to crash after spending a day at Busch Gardens, this place is great. Just don't expect three star amenities from a two star hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was awesome and in a great place. Rooms need to be a little more refreshened.

The whole experience was just... well... very memorable. Check in time at this hotel is 3PM,we arrived at 6.30 and room was not ready. Finally we were told that we can check in but keys did not work. Room was unbelievably dirty, not vacuumed at all, ripped power outlet, hair everywhere in the bathroom and I can go on and on. I understand that this is not a 5 star hotel however mold ( and lots of it) in my opinion is not acceptable. They did not do a basic, very basic cleaning. The next day we went to a park and after we came home room keys did not work again..... Breakfast was terrible as well. I guess the price was good for this suite but I would not recommend anyone to stay there...... Just not healthy....Also at check in front desk gave me receipt but my name, town and state were wrong ( only street was correct) - as well as credit card information. How in the world did she managed to read my drivers license and mess it up, it's beyond me.... Williamsburg was wonderful, as usual, we enjoyed it a lot (just did not want to go back to that.. hotel..)

Nice surprise. Room clean, comfortable. Great location. Breakfast a little disappointed. After all good experience. We will be back.

The room only had an old window heat pump. Sounded like a jet engine and blew air onto your face. Only other option was turning it off and freeze. The thin blankets were disgusting. Room surfaces were dusty. Lots of other places to stay near by.

My daughter and I came up for an extended weekend from the other colony (Charleston) to see what was happening in Williamsburg. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was basic and was what I expected for the price. I will staying here on the next trip.

Great view. Pool clean and usable. Would come back again

Excellent location, great staff, Pool is extremely clean. Good free breakfast

Nothing super special but definitely clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short drive(<10mins) away from everywhere we wanted to go, places such as: Williamsburg Winery, Minigolf, Colonial Williamsburg, Dog Street Pub, Fat Tuna Bar and Grill, etc. Definitely take advantage of the coupons you can get for most if not all the places we visited!

Chris at the front desk was what tipped this from neutral to positive. We had a double room suite, which was plenty of room for our family of 6. We didn't arrive until late at night and it was cold out. The guy at the front desk had the heat put on in the room ahead of our arrival. The breakfast was sufficient and the location is close to anything you might need. The printer in the lobby didn't work and I had to run to staples to print, which was a minor inconvenience.

Very dirty room !!! Need to check behind maid....bathroom dirty, spider webs on curtain as you come into door mess on wall . Had to kill cricket in room..Experience was really bad because cant really sleep in a dirty room

The motel had a friendly staff and the room was comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was nice and cool but could use some cleaning on the tiles just above the water line. We enjoyed our stay and the pool. The breakfast was more than adequate for a quick but filling breakfast including the waffle iron and fresh hot waffles.

Stains on duvet and few hairs in tub were displeasing and continental breakfast lacking. We were only staying 1 night though and value and location made it a good deal.

Let's start with the positives. The staff when I checked in couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Actually had a problem with the third party reservation (first time I have ever experienced that) but she went above and beyond to address it quickly and get me into my room. Also the location is very good, close to the things you would most need to travel to in Williamsburg. The negatives. The sink and shower in the room both had handles that seemed about to fall or break off. The AC in the room struggled to keep the room cool but sure provided plenty of moisture such that after a night there everything seemed damp and just a little musty. All in all it was okay for a night or two but I wouldn't want to stay a week while sightseeing in Williamsburg.

Realy close w busch garden! After all the tiredness, we relaxed w comfort!

Nice room. Needed a little cleaning around edge of carpet. Great continental breakfast. Toiletry, safe, ironing board and iron and a coffee pot in room. Great for the value.
