Our stay was 28-30 July 2017. A 2-bedrm deluxe and a 1-bedrm Premium. Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend but the resort had a game room we all had fun in. Everyone at this Bluegreen resort was so nice and friendly, you felt like family there. Our first encounter was mainly with Ms. Paris at the front desk. She was a sheer delight to deal with, along with being very helpful and informative. All the staff at the front desk always greeted you with happy faces and great smiles each day. The villas were well cared for which prevented me from having to wipe everything down before use. I do travel with my clean supplies or I will find a Wal-mart for them. The game room is nice but I wished it was a little more spacious for the rainy days when most try to bring their children there. Maybe in the future they can expand this area, but we had fun in it. One of the nights we caught the fireworks from Busch Gardens across the street. That was a very nice touch. The area felt safe, there was a lot of parking spaces and peace and quiet was a blessing when trying to sleep. The location is central to many eating places, activities – although most required being outside, plenty of things do and place to go. We had our hearts set on the water park but maybe next time. We will be back. I really enjoyed this area. The staff really make this place great.

This was a really nice place. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and while it is an older resort ( 9 to 10 years), the rooms were modern and featured all the comforts one would expect. The game room and exercise room are open 24 hours and the hotel has a large selection of DVD's and board games which you can borrow for those times you want to stay in your room. The outside walls are solid as I could barely hear the train go by but the interior walls could use some improvement as I could every word coming from the next unit and every footstep from the unit above. Biggest complaint (and it is just about everywhere), the bed's are not all that comfortable and rather high which makes it hard for a short person to get on the bed easily. While this resort is located very close to the Busch Gardens parking lot, You can not just walk over and due to the 2 major roads, woodsy area, train tracks and limited crossings, it is slightly more than a mile to the nearest crossing and and 1.5 miles back to the actual parking lot entrance. If Busch Gardens sends you out through an alternate exit as they did us the other night, you might just find yourself completely lost.. THIS RESORT DOES NOT OFFER SHUTTLE SERVICE!

Hear the screams of people having fun! Watch the fireworks from the front balcony. If you are going to Busch Gardens, this is the place to stay. New units with all the contents for a family vacation. Cook in or eat out. The pool is inviting and fun for all ages!

Accommodations smaller than previous visit. Didn't get the basement or downstairs bedroom. Still very nice. Game room and exercise equipment very good. Staff was excellent!! Asked for items late at night, staff brought it right away, very polite Everytime we interacted.

We enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite. Son slept on sofa bed and we each had a bathroom. Two TVs, so no arguments. Little kitchen with table and ample frig. It was a great stay and seemed to be 10-30 minutes from everything.

A group of us came to Williamsburg to celebrate a birthday at Busch Gardens. We booked a 3 bedroom suite which allowed everyone to be together, enjoy each others company, and yet not feel overcrowded. There was no separate dining room but the kitchen had a HUGE center island with spacious seating for eight. There were two full baths and an in-room washer/dryer - which was a great convenience. The full kitchen meant we could feed everyone breakfast and a post-park snack without breaking the bank. The room was clean and well maintained. I have to admit that it is not as spacious as other condos that are closer to Colonial Williamsburg, but the decor is more modern here, the balconies overlook green space and the buildings are kept up better than most. If your main interest is in visiting Busch Gardens, it is a hard one to beat.

We are Bluegreen owners and were very pleased with this resort. We were traveling with our grandchildren. Our unit was clean, spacious, and suited our needs perfectly. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground. The pool attendants were very pleasant as were the folks in the clubhouse. It was very nice that various kids staying at the resort played together in the pool. Our grandchildren had a great time playing Marco Polo and other games with the other children there. What a nice time! The only drawback of the pool area were the swarms of mosquitoes that appeared as soon as the sun dipped down. Maybe some pest control is in order in the pool area. The resort is in a great location. We would certainly recommend this resort.

We are Bluegreen owners and booked this using bonus time. Stayed two nights with 4 kids. They love the pool, the slide and splash zone for the little ones. Our room was ready when we arrived, it was very clean and spacious for the 6 of us. The pull out couch was one of the most comfortable ones we've had anywhere. Conveniently located, quiet location. We will definitely stay when we visit again.

What a wonderful experience!! Our suite was excellent. We were conveniently located to antique shopping, quaint shops, and WalMart! We bought our groceries and enjoyed some meals in our suite. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer so we didn't have to bring home dirty laundry! We were close to historical locations which we thoroughly enjoyed. We could go out in the morning, come back for a quick nap, and be ready for the evening. We plan to return in the fall. We had plenty of room in our suite. It was perfect for the two of us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great memories were made.

Stayed this past weekend to jumpstart spring break - 2 adults and 2 kids ages 13 and 9. We are Bluegreen owners and this is the first time staying at this resort. We were on the 3rd floor of the 200 building. Overlooks the golf course on one side and the road on the other. Didn't hear road noise but did hear the train multiple times. Kids loved looking over and seeing the roller coasters at Busch Gardens. Pros: Furnishings were nice, couch and chairs in living room were nice quality. We had a 2 BR with a pullout couch which we didn't use to sleep since there were 4 of us. Unit was large and we couldn't even hear the kids when they were in their room watching TV with the door open. The unit was clean and well stocked with the basic cooking utensils so you could cook in the unit if you wanted. They even included a small salt and pepper set which was a really nice feature and a bag of microwave popcorn. Bathrooms were big and towels new and fluffy. Beds were comfy. Had an elevator for floors 2 and 3 and small carts for luggage. The outside pool looked great but wasn't yet open. Front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly even when declining the owner update they are required to ask to schedule. The game room was on the second floor of the check in building. It was clean and had a pool table, air hockey, pool table, board games and some places to sit and relax. Close to all the sites - we have been to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg previously so this time we visited Historic Jamestown, the Yorktown Battlefield and the new Revolutionary War Museum - all were great and within short driving distance. Cons: Since there isn't an indoor pool, the front desk said you could call their sister property and ask to use their pool and that resort would let you know if you could use the pool. Seemed like a very passive approach - they could easily make this a perk by making it easier and more welcoming as an option. The train came by at least once during the night. For light sleepers, it could be an issue. For us, it was fine and we went right back to sleep. The overall resort is fairly small which was nice but they also didn't have any planned activities for kids. Wasn't an issue since we had nice weather but would have been challenging if we had bad weather and/or stayed at the resort longer. Would like a teabag or 2 in the room along with the coffee. Overall, we like the resort and recommend it for families or people looking for something more than a hotel to stay and visit the Williamsburg area. We will be back since it is only a 3 hour drive from where we live.
