The facility is very old. The air conditioner leaked so the floor was wet. Until this hotel is upgraded, do not waste your time. There is a much nicer Holiday Inn just down the road.

Although this hotel was very convenient to shopping and major restaurants, it was not up to par. There was an odor to the room, the curtains were tore, heating unit was extremely loud, and had to run water wide open in shower to get water hot enough. Chair arms needed cleaning. There were no working vending machines in hotel. Had to wait to get coffee- was not ready at 6:15. Did not think it was worth price paid per night.

The Electricity went out in the entire Hotel and we couldn't get back into the room to retrieve items for a wedding we were attending! We plan to dispute the charges due to this.

Brief stay location great for me and comfortable, staff was very helpful

One word...okay, I was really looking forward to taking my kids to the indoor pool. The pool was freezing cold literally and there was poor lighting. Another reviewer stated to get a room on the 3rd floor and I forgot but I remembered once I was awaken by a crowd of people walking pass my door way....at 6am in the morning. The sheets did not seem that clean at all I had grit and little rolled up pieces of tissue paper in my sheets, so they are not doing a thorough job cleaning the beds. The best part was location but there is a l9t of hotels near by that will also give you a great location. For the price it was not worth it at all. Would not come back.

My fiance and I needed to book a last-minute overnight stay in Williamsburg after a previous snafu with this site and another hotel. This hotel was available in a pinch, so we decided to book it. When we arrived at our room, we turned on the heater, which produced an awful smell, making the air in the room almost unbreathable. We went back down to the front desk, where they quickly apologized & assigned us to another room, promising to look into the heater issue. We were pleased that the front desk followed up with a call to our new room to make sure we were happy with it. Overall, an average hotel with good service.

It was easy to find, convenient to several restaurants. The housekeeping staff was great, extremely nice and efficient. The indoor/outdoor pool was in need cleaning. The indoor pool was supposed to be heated but wasn't. Two bus loads of teenagers checked in the second night and we were surrounded. They were rude, banging on doors and calling our room twice after midnight. We called the front desk and complained. The hotel security staff never logged it for the manager. I also had a flat tire in the a.m. and the local Good Year Tire Co. confirmed that the air had been let out........just saying. Security needs to do a better job.

All looks fine with exceptions of very bad (heavy and greasy) breakfasts after checking I decide to skip it. There was extremely noisy heather unit going on and off every 10-15 minutes. Near the working table I was unable to find any 120 V outlet (need to pushed TV stand to plug in my PC charger) I won't do it next time.

I found out in advance that the hotel had several listings for bed bugs. The person checking us in knew nothing. I asked about restaurants and shopping and she said she didn't t know. She did not offer to ask someone else. We left early in the morning for a tour of Colonial Williamburg. We returned at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and our room had not been cleaned. We finally just asked for clean towels and brought out the trash. Not the best experience. I will definitely not stay in a Holiday Inn at Williamsburg.

We stayed for two nights and we had no problems with the checkin, service or checkout. The location was great because we were able to get in and out of the area with no trouble. The downside of our stay was that the room was musty and didn't have the freshly clean appearance to it. Also, while in the bathroom I could hear the entire conversation of people next door. For a quick weekend trip to Williamsburg, it was worth the price.

We went to the Division IAA playoff game W&M vs Georgia Southern. Good first half - not so good the second. We ate at an Unos and watch football on TV that night. We visited the Prime Outlets on the way home the next day. A very enjoyable weekend, but winning the football game would have been better. I have stayed here before and access is easy, check-in is easy. The hotel is older and has not been updated recently with digital TV, but wireless Internet is free. I would stay again because the price is good and location is convenient.

The hotel was old but nice. The rooms where not spotless but nice. It was in a good location with nice places to eat close by.

i have no complaints everything was nice.

was arriving late, because of trip from Zurich, Switzerland. [...] Friends stood at Hilton Garden Inn at Newportsnews. For about the same price, they had a really excellent hotel. Because I had forgotten my poweradapter for European chargers, I asked at the desk - no chance. They are not able to help.

Great area! Only about 7 min driving from Colonial Williamsburg, about 15-20 from Busch Gardens, Yorktown Victory Center and Jamestown Settlement; and about 1/2 hour-45 min from Berkeley and Shirley plantations! The beds are super comfy, and the staff is nice and helpfull. The only issue for us was that there is no onsite laundry. If you need laundry services, you need to find outside places.

We chose this Holiday Inn for it's location--right next to a relative we were visiting. The only plus was the location otherwise it was quite disappointing. The hotel was old, not updated, smelled of smoke, and dingy. The housekeeping staff never cleaned our rooms before 5:00 PM Our key cards failed every day we were there and so I was constantly going to the front desk to get them replaced. Next time we'll stay some place else.

We booked this hotel for its affordability and proximity to Colonial Williamsburg, and it was great on both counts. The room and bathroom were spacious and super clean, and it was just a couple of minutes from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Despite a full house, the noise level was minimal. We also appreciated the fast, free Internet. I definitely recommend this hotel.

poorly maintained rooms- shower curtain rod kept falling, mirror over sink fell. Non smoking was not really non smoking. Room smelled - would not stay again.

The Staff at this Hotel were very polite and helpful. The front Lobby was very beautiful, however, the rooms were older. Rooms could use some updating. Some cracks in our bathroom. Looks like they tried to repair but didnt cover it well. The hallways had a smell to it but rooms were fine. Overall, the service was great and the front desk really helped us find our way around virigina and even provided us with 25% off to Busch Gardens! We would go back anyday!

Check-in was not good at all. The staff seemed very confused. The door to the room was hard to open and close...seemed to be off hinge. Room was hot and smelled...bathroom seemed to have some mold. The breakfast buffet wasn't any great shakes - all the food was over cooked and dried out. I took a hit when I checked out early and moved to a much better place down the street.
