Clean room and property.

Arrived after reserving a room with a jetted tub and was sent to a room with no jetted tub. Front desk staff totally aloof at best and rude at worst. Returned to front desk and was asked to prove I reserved a room with jetted tub. Showed proof, no apology, no hospitality, just a complaint about not having any keys at the moment. Given key to new room, so move all stuff over and the key does not work. Wife standing in the hallway while I go back to the front desk. Another staff member is there and appears not to believe that the key doesn't work. Escorts me to room, key doesn't work, so lets us in with manager key. Again rude behavior, no apologies, no hospitality, no common manners. Staff member walks away and I say "I need a working room key" to which I receive the aloof response "we'll work on getting you one". By this time I'm tired of being the polite guest and I just don't respond. About 30 minutes later the 1st staff member appears at our door and says "here's your working room key", that's it, no apology or expression of regret for all the inconvenience. The abhorrent behavior of the staff left us cold and upset, and soured the rest of our stay. The room was not up to proper cleanliness standards either. I booked this place based on the high review ratings, but I was sorely disappointed and left wondering how they ever scored so highly. Convenient location to historical sites is the sole aspect this place has going for it as far as I'm concerned.

Not bad overall

I loved how friendly the staff was and also the breakfast and the pool were fantastic. My only issue was it seemed like every vending machine wasn't working one way or another

Despite only having 4 floors, the elevator was always a ten minute wait. The room was minimally clean and has not been updated in decades. The walls are paper thin and the other guests had no respect for others. This is a 1 1/2 star hotel. Don’t be fooled.

Housekeeping wasnt done, service was not best. Worker was rude with me, breakfast didn't stay open .

Clean , easy parking , good breakfast

after second night I developed some kind of bite I thought maybe mosquito but it was so itchy here it is 4 days later and they are still there and still super itchy so I went to Dr. today because I thought maybe a spider bite he took one look and said it was bed bugs they were all in a line he said that was a dead give away they need to fix this asap as not only is this uncomfortable but I had to go to the drs office

The first room I received the smelled so bad to cigarettes. It was so much that I got a headache. The staff members were very polite to give me another room, but rooms should be inspected before giving them to the guests. Also the breakfast was ok, but they were running low on items and we still had 20 minutes before breakfast was closed, however, they were so many people still trying to get breakfast that they should have brought more stuff so everyone could eat.

The hotel was convenient to Colonial Williamsburg/Busch Gardens. There was room for improvement as far as updating of rooms, but overall this wasn't a deal breaker. The staff was very hard working and friendly. Would stay again.

Super place to stay!

This best western is a little dated, but clean and located centrally to all of the areas attractions.

I had a great stay the hotel and my room was very clean. The kids loved the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub. Also the staff was very nice. They can work on a better breakfast menu but

Our wall unit heater sent up blue sparks and then quit working on our second night. We called to ask for repairs or a new room and they said they couldn’t help us until the morning, despite my concerns for safety. Temp in the room got down to 60 degrees overnight and then they forgot to even send up maintenance to repair it the next day. We chose not to use the pool because the filters were never running and water appeared quite dirty. Disappointing breakfast options. The hotel was fairly clean but in need of updates. Some of the staff were quite nice and helpful, but others were less than friendly.

Good location and great staffs

Very cute hotel. A little run down, needs some revamping, but still we had no complaints. Staff was very sweet on arrival, let us check in 2 hours early. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice, but the strong smell of chlorine made us leave the pool area twice. All in all, I’d stay here again, it was budget friendly and we liked it!!
