My room was very clean as was the hotel property. Upon pulling up I thought I booked a closed hotel due to the lack of cars in the parking lot and the overall surrounding buildings/area. Once inside my stay was great.
Room and lobby areas were clean. However, the pool area was a complete mess when we arrived. It appeared that the pool area had been ignored for awhile. There were towels, toys, drinks and trash all over the pool area. The breakfast area, although clean, was very limited in options. There was no hot choices. It appears that the hotel is in the process of renovating everything, there’s just a few steps left to go.
Well. Hotel is now Wichita Inn still under renovation. My usual hotel BW plus was booked. So checked in here, surprised to find it was work in progress, but not crowded. Seemed 2nd floor was done, hallway cleared, Room was clean and comfortably Would stay again, just bring your snacks and drinks. By the way curtains are thin, so you'll have lots of light coming in through the window in the morning

It was under construction, the desk clerk copied my credit card information on a separate piece of paper, the room was on the 3rd floor, the elevator was broke, the tv would not change channels, notified clerk he was not happy to help, tv was set up for the visually impaired and clerk remark is the channel’s changing
They are currently renovating so things are kind of a mess. However, the staff were all very pleasant.
I passed the place 3 times, looks like an abandon building. There are no signs for the building, anywhere. Half of the place is closed and it's the side that faces the street. I finally drove around the place and spotted a small 'open' sign on the door. My room seemed clean enough, haven't been updated in eons. Area is sketchy as well. Overall a very creepy experience.
Too many dogs at hotel barking late at night. It was hard to get any sleep.

Thank you for letting us know we need to increase the number of times we check the pool area. In regards to breakfast, we do now have hot choices. Sorry that we did not yet have it going when you were here. Thank you again for your feedback. We have come a long way in the past 6-9 months, but yes, we do have more to get completed.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Yes, our front parking lot is generally fairly empty since all our guestrooms are behind the front lobby, so after check-in, most guests park in our east parking lot in order to be closer to those entry doors. Once our banquet space renovation gets completed, we expect to see more cars in the front lot that are here for meetings or events. It was great to meet you. We look forward to next time we see you.
