Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wichita East

Nice room, had some trash left on bathroom sink, and the reservation had some problems with payment that was worked out. Great breakfast, room was comfortable and the price as well below others.

We have stayed here several times as it is convenient to the mall and plenty of dining options close. Prices are fair.

When we are traveling, I just want a clean room with amenities such as coffee and refrigerator. Fairfield is consistent and I can depend on the Marriott brand.

We happened to pick a weekend where a rather large basketball tournament was taking place. Staff did the best they could but kids being kids overwhelmed the staff. Breakfast was a mess but the room was great and very comfortable. Would easily stay there again.

This was my second stay in a month and both times it was great. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

March 2012 and I did not see any remodeling going on like the other reviews mention? The beds were not your normal hotel beds...these are soft and comfy. Felt like a memory foam mattress? The complimentary breakfast ends early so don't delay getting there. Waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, and refrigerated fruit cups were delicious.

[...]. When making my reservation there was nothing about this hotel being under construction, water damage on the room walls, having NO elevator, furniture from the '80's, and absentee staff. If you call having the doors locked and snoring coming through the night window that was still not answered after 4 bell rings, absentee staff. The only reason I am giving them one star is because the coffee was hot and milk was cold. [...] If you have children, this is not a hotel for you. [...]

Room was very clean, staff was very helpful. Excellent hotel especially for the price. We will stay at Fairfield when we go back to Wichita.

Creepy that lobby locked after hours -- use "teller window" to check-in -- but it's not an area that seems unsafe... NO INTERNET! Breakfast area hot and too small. Rooms & lobby not connected at all -- not even a covered walkway. Crummy pillows. Orange juice "out of order" Next time we'll stay at the Marriott and spend a little more.

Hotel was awesome. They had a little mix up on the double queen room but they gave us 2 king size rooms next to each other. We were there just for the night, so it was a little pit stop along our vacation. Beds were so comfortable

I got in from a long day of traveling and the room was very comfortable.

Their was an issue that the manager took care of. Everything else was great

In an industrial area, doesnt seem very safe for a woman alone

clean rooms. good shower. Close to shopping and great restaurants

Convenient location and helpful, friendly staff. Free breakfast was good, but crouded.

Will stay again.

very good

Quick check in, clean, well kept, good value. Would stay there again.

Close to most major locations in the city. Ate out and went to entertainment places. Had a great time.

The room was SPOTLESS! It smelled great and unlike some hotels, I was not afraid to walk barefoot on the carpets. Staff was extreamly friendly and helpful. Pool is small, but nice for a quick swim with the kids, the towles are out there so don't bother bringing ones from the room. Beds were comfy and extra blankets are in the dresser. Breakfast was a little more than the average Continetal Breakfast with a waffle station and breakfast sandwiches in addition to the usual cereal, breads, muffins, ect. The only complaint is that the breakfast area is SMALL so there's not always enough seats, and you always seem to be in the way of someone else. The good side to it was that the staff kept up with it well, and there was never anything empty.
