Bed and pillows were comfortable. Had to leave door open to get rid of mildew smell. Window and sill and frame were covered with mildew and or mold.

The location was right off the highway which was great. We were in town for an event. Yes from the outside the hotel looks a bit run down but it's been renovated so the rooms looked good for the price we paid. They could use a bit more careful cleaning but overall it was clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee at night and it's wlaking distance from 3 food places all of which are 24 hour which is very convenient. I've stayed in many hotels and I would definetly stay here again. Yea it small but it's a good place to spend the night comfortably. The fact that it's near a highway bring a bit if noise but overall great stay

This appears to be an older hotel with some updating of the rooms, which were pleasant and comfortable. If you are upstairs, toward the back, you'll have to carry your bag a long way. There's only one stairs and it is at the front. I would consider staying there again.

Old style, exterior room entrances, poor breakfast, poor service, will not stay there again.L

It went super well! I'll definitely come back to this location

Nice hotel convenient to our ultimate destination.

I stayed here once before booking the same way. This time I got to the room and it was muggy and had a wet smell to it, no fridge or microwave so the food I just bought had to be eaten all the same night. When I called to ask about a room with a fridge and a microwave the rude lady at the front desk told me I didn't pay for one so I didn't get one. There was a party at the pool until late and they were very loud. There was garbage dumped all over the hallways and the ice machines weren't working. definitely wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel has been remodeled I suppose but shows a lot of just painted over rotting wood, etc. The tub had mold in the grout. Fixtures on the wall hanging precariously. Mirror showing wear. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good (typical). Parking lot was worn and unswept (bird feathers all over near our door). $65 a night is on the high side for this property.

The area was very dirty. Staircase, parking lot, was very dirty. Room was clean, staff was very helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good.

This hotel was right off Hwy 287, which was convenient for our travel plans. The Mexican restaurant two doors down was very tasty and friendly! The La Quinta was a different story. (Except for the lady who checked us in, she was nice). The room we got was more appropriate for a truck stop than a family hotel. It reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the signs that said fine for room cleaning if you smoke in here. The A/C was really loud and every time it came on it woke us up, due to the fan hitting the side of the unit and clanging. In the morning, my 62 year old mom went down for breakfast which was supposed to start at 6am. She got down there a little early at about 5:50. The door was locked and when she knocked to be let in, the lady at the front desk wasn't going to let her in at first, leaving her standing in the parking lot! She finally opened the door for my mom but told her the breakfast doesn't start until SIX. My mom told her she didn't have to be so rude. Then my husband showed up at about 5:55, and my mom was afraid to let him in the door because the lady had been so nasty. (I was not there yet). The lady let him in but also informed him that he wasn't getting food for 5 more minutes. I work in the service industry, and if I treated our customers that way, I would never expect them to come back. If we ever stay in Wichita Falls again, trust me, we won't stay at this La Quinta. We paid $70 for the room, and I would say it was worth $25, just for the place to lay your head.

Can't really complain. The room was clean... The waffle was good... For the money I would stay there again....

This hotel just got renovated so everything was great for the price. It is located next to the freeway so it can be a little noise but is not bad, location is very accesible and staff was friendly.

I had a flight out of Wichita Falls and missed the flight the next morning and the hotel was very sincere and let me hang out in the lobby till my ride go there 6 hours later

When we first pulled into the hotel, I didn't know what to expect because it looked really old. However, we were in for a pleasant surprise. The rooms have been renovated and looked super clean and the beds were so comfortable. The next morning, my mom went to eat breakfast but I couldn't eat because I was fasting for my surgery that morning and they allowed her to get me a few things to eat for after my surgery. Overall, friendly staff and clean, non smoke rooms

good for the money , quick stay, close places to eat , close to airport

Was a nice room for the night. Nice staff. got me in the room fast and on the first floor as requested

The room was very nice with a huge bed and flat screen, but there's only a pool and a few small restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is very nice though. I'd stay there again

We stopped through Wichita Falls during our recent move. We stayed one night here. We checked in late, slept for a few hours and took off in the morning. The room looked clean, the beds were comfortable and free wifi was available. We didn't take advantage of some of the other amenities like the free breakfast, but for our purposes this hotel was just fine. We were driving a large moving truck with a towing trailer and were able to maneuver through the parking lot to find parking. Not ideal for super large trucks, but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling through the area.

Convenient location, very nice, comfortable hotel at a good price. No problems.

The hotel rooms were very clean, grounds were not! The staff was exceptionally accommodating. The rooms were "average" at best." The free breakfast was adequate.
