We really like the Hampton hotels. We stayed here 2 nights to take the kids to the Childrens Museum and the Indy Zoo. 25 minutes to each super easy to get to right on and off of I65. Worth staying here and not paying downtown prices. The free breakfast is nice. I read other reviews about hearing through the walls. We did not hear anything but our kids were crying so I kept thinking oh man I hope they cant hear them. All in all it was a nice stay and staff is very friendy.

Id stay again. Comfortable rooms, and was located near everything I needed. There were no non dairy options at breakfast which limited what I could consume. Food allergies exist, it's 2017, it would have been a nice option

For the money I expected clean rooms as they had not vacuumed in some time. Dirty mirrors. Beds were comfortable. Internet was poor..breakfast was good but they ran out of food before closing time. Might want to hire new staff. I expected more for my money.

Front desk helpful when asked. Had issues with internet help get me access. Pool was clean and stocked. Few loose tiles around pool. Breakfast could of used more selection. Stayed at other Hampton's before and staying more then 1 day had different choices. This visit had scrambled eggs and sausage two days in a row. Overall great visit

This hotel is less than 4 years old and this is my second stay after staying 2 years ago. The good- it was clean and convenient to where we were playing kids sport tourney. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Air conditioning was quiet and beds were decent. Maid service was good. Stairwell was nice, big, and open which was good alternate to elevator. The bad- room maintenance for room 211 needs addressed. Toilet is not anchored to floor and rocks. The tile in entry way was also loose and rocks. Marks on ceiling and side chair. Bad odor on one end of the second floor like backup sewer. No extra special touches in lobby. Hot water for tea often out. Some sort of snack laid out on first night was gone and never set out on any other evening. They use to have fruit infused water but that is gone. No mini fridge in room which is a real negative for sports teams staying the weekend to keep drinks cool. No offer of snacks for honors members. Workers were going through the motion. Lots of noise from room above all weekend. Breakfast had no extra special touches. I will try the new holiday inn express across the street that appears to be coming soon on next trip as it appears this hotel is on a negative trajectory.

This is my second stay at this hotel. On our previous stay the hotel staff were very helpful. On this stay, the flooring in the room and corridors were not well maintained. The hotel staff were ok, but not exceptional.

First...what hotel allows tailgating(grill, party, etc...) right in the outside guest check in area(you know where you park your car to check in)? THIS ONE. Seriously. I don't mind drinks and chatting in the nook/meeting room but this was a full fledged tail-gating party of parents for apparently their kids ball team. Second...It smells strongly of sewer. Awful. Third...The elevators are ridiculous. Like, scary sounding ridiculous. In fact they were shut down one day...looked like a staff member was working on them? Fourth...The staff at the front desk during the day are VERY non-friendly. I expect a certain level of 'niceness' coming from Hampton. I don't think I saw one of them smile at all during our entire stay. Fifth...the fourth floor is tarped at one end. Looks like a MAJOR mold problem. That means with the elevators down you have ONE staircase that worked. Sixth... the walls are ridiculously THIN. Seventh...the quality was NOT at all what I expect from a Hampton Inn. We stay at Hampton Inns frequently being a Honors member. I always know they are going to be nice....I was so wrong. Eighth...we requested a refrigerator since they do not come in the queen rooms apparently. Again, the day staff was distant, unfriendly and seemed quite put-off. The staff at one point told us it was a newer 3 year old hotel. I am very skeptical. If this is a newer Hampton Inn than whomever built it and hired did a crappy job.

Pulled into the hotel after 6 hours of driving at midnight. The main driveway for check ins was closed off with cones for a group of adults tailgating and grilling for some sort of party. Two vehicles, lawn chairs, grill..the works. After checking in we proceeded to our room to find it occupied, or at least very slept in and messy. Both beds unmade, toilet seat up, food wrappers in the bed. Went back downstairs to find out there were no more rooms with 2 queens, and there were 3 people in our party. The only room available was a king with sleeper sofa. At midnight, this was not the time to argue or look for alternate options. Agreed to take the room. Now sofa beds are not known for being comfortable, but the mattress on this one was incredibly flimsy. The other extra bonus is that our room gave us the opportunity to hear the party going on in the driveway - 4 floors up. Did I mention 1 of the 2 elevators was out of order? After 12:30 am called front desk to ask how much longer the people in the entry way would be there because we could hear them all the way on 4th floor. The only response I received was "I don't know, I could ask them". I replied that they were disturbing the guests and got only silence in reply. Did I mention front desk person was in street clothes with no name tag or anything to identify as an employee. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years, love the brand and recommend it often...this experience was nothing of the norm and a serious risk to the Hampton Inn reputation.

Nice location and area but stay clear of this hotel until sewer problem is fixed. Bad odor throughout hotel. Talked with front desk person and they didn't say anything other than there is a problem. They should have said something upon arrival or post signs.

Needed accommodations close to Indy, but didn't want to pay to stay downtown. This hotel was a great option and was a perfect solution. The beds were CLEAN (I always check!) and so was the bathroom. Sleep was comfortable. A/C was almost too good, and the calibration was touchy, but we managed! Husband enjoyed the fitness center. Business center was a plus as I had a packet to print. Clean, helpful staff, convenient from I-65. Highly recommend.
