Excellent room for the price. Clean facility and friendly staff.

Dirty carpets in hallways. Run down rooms. Pet friendly hotel but no grassy areas around hotel for pets. No complimentary breakfast offered.

checking in was easy, the staff was very helpful and friendly

Front staff, Richard, was best part of the hotel. He was very friendly and helpful. We picked this hotel because it had the best parking situation compared to nearby hotels. The rooms could use an update. There was a short black hair on the hotel hair dryer (I have long blonde hair and my companion is bald). I felt $130.00 was a bit much for what we got.

Great value. Friendly staff. Top notch room and facilities at a reasonable price. Good location.

This is an older facility, but it met our need of a pet friendly facility. Not bad, not good just adequate. Traveling across country expect some good, some bad.

Since it was off season, we were given a large room with couch and two chairs. This made it possible for the grandkids we were visiting to come play a game in our room. The attached "Ricky's Restaurant" was convenient for two family meals.

The staff were very nice.I enjoyed my room view and the quiet surroundings. I found it to be a little far from most things but the good thing is that its close to a grocery store and other eat out restaurants. Not bad really.

We spent 4 nights in February at the Ramada while taking in the events of the Sourdough Rendezvous festival in town. We requested a room on the upper floors but were given a main floor room upon check in. The staff was wonderful and made the change we requested. Our room was clean and had been updated. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is clearly very old. Although a curtain covered the entire wall, we pulled it back to reveal one tiny window that was almost completely covered with frost. Apart from major renovation, not much that can be done about that. Our room was made up quickly every day even if we didnt get out of the room until noon. There was a sauna on our floor but we didn't use it. The room was for the most part quiet except we could hear the guests above walking aroundnsometimes. I would recommend a 3rd floor room or bring ear plugs just in case. We used the adjoining restaurant at breakfast and it was excellent. We didnt visit the lounge so I cant comment on that. We arranged a shuttle with the front desk for our departure to the airport. All in all I would say its a very affordable place to stay in the winter in Whitehorse. Be wary of making any local calls though as they charge you by the minute. I had a bit of a surprise on checkout. It was a bit over the top. Considering most people's cell phones from out of town don't work here, they are probably making a killing from this.

The hotel is a bit outside the central downtown district, but it was an easy 20 minute walk to fine eateries and stores. While the building is dated and could use some "sprucing up" it was very comforable and the staff were helpful and efficient.

It was fine no problems close to shopping and downtown and entertainment
