Stayed at the suite, it was beyond expectations. Good size rooms that Easily accommodated family of 6 ( 3 kids) , jacuzzi and swimming pool was lot of fun for kids.. It has cooking area though we did not get to use it. One recommendation would be to change 1 double bed in the room to queen size.

The room was not cleaned well at check in, however the maid service after our first night was excellent. Lights didn't work, broken tile, the carpets stained... the place was pretty run down. The hot tub was not inservice and we paid a lot of money specifically because we looked for a hot tub as my husband is recuperating from a 40 foot fall from a roof. SUPER disappointing.

This place was suppose to be a 3 star, the reviews on the trip sites showed this. I can say this is a 1 star place very run down and disgusting bathrooms.

We were pleased with our room and its view of the mountains. It was close to the attractions we were there to see. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant and the quality of the food. We enjoyed our time at the attractions especially since it had been decades since we were last there for a visit.

Clean room pool and jacuzzi great food at restaurant on site

I stayed at Woodwards about 15 years ago with my family, I had great memories which is why I decided to stay. I ignored the comments others had posted, I had remembered a great hotel, it was nothing like I remembered. It was very disappointing. Location - great location! Very close the area attractions. Staff - restaurant staff and front desk were very nice and welcoming. Room - very dated, dirty and musty odor. Walls needed to be repainted, carpet needs to be replaced. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room we were in the carpet had a big stain. Walls were scratched and many dings. Bathroom - dingy, area around the tub was dirty, bathroom fan was filled with dust, towels were very thin. Sink drain was all backed up. Amenities - outdoor pool was better than expected, indoor pool was fully carpeted, the carpet was old, and torn, the carpet was frayed all around the edge of the pool and jacuzzi , the frayed carpet was dangling in the water. Pool and jacuzzi water levels were very low. Pool towels were never washed and restocked. They also have a sauna which was nice, game room needed a deep clean. Outdoor Property - very neat and tidy, nice plants and flowers. Very nice duck pond on property. Restaurant - terrible, don't waste your money, food was awful, food tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer covered in frostbite then defrosted and served.

good times lotsa people, pool cold, shivers....lol

The room was not cleaned well. Our son found a dirty sock under the bed. There is mold in the bathroom and pretty sure every where in the room. The restaurant and staff was great! The pool and gaming room was also nice. But the rooms need to be remodeled.

Location was very convenient. Did not get to use amenities but offers plenty to do. Heater in room was not that great. Room was not bad bed comfortable but could use updates. Biggest complaint was there was human feces on bed spread. Upon checkout overheard another couple complain about blood smeared across the wall. Think it's time for them to evaluate their housekeeping staff. For the price was not worth it.

A great place for a quick getaway! Would recommend it.

We stayed for 1 night for close access to White Mountains activities. Location was good and price was reasonable. Beds and floors were creaky but otherwise was adequate for our needs.

I was disappointed to drive deep into the mountains in a huge forest and find my room's porch overlooked the freeway. I could see cars from the back porch. Overall a nice place, but it is really a resort, a destination to take the kids to and let them play. If your kids are up with croquet and shuffleboard, that is.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. While I did not "explore" multiple rooms, the reviews for this hotel appear to differ along the lines of room location / type. That being said, we stayed in the portion of the hotel that overlooks the outdoor pool and the duck pond, with the indoor pool/hot tub a 3 minute walk away. Overall the room (2 queens) was nice. Yes, the decor was a little dated and the TV was not a huge flatscreen, but one typically does not visit the White Mountains to watch TV. The room itself was rather large in size and had a small fridge. We were on the second floor, and only noted some noise from the stairwell door closing periodically (right next to our room). There was an early riser that decided to drag their suticase down the stairwell, thumping on eachs step, but that is not the fault of the hotel, but ratther the entitled idiot that was moving the suitcase. Perhaps the can of beer he had in his hand at 7:30 in the morning explained his general concern for the sleep of others. We did not use our AC as the nights were cool on our visit. This did allow a bit of cigar smell to enter the room from the common "balcony" that fronts the room doors. Again, not really the fault of the hotel, but rather that of the hearty vacationer that thought the smell of burning cabbae/hair issuing forth from his stogie was something that should be shared with everyone., no smoking signs be damned. Curiously suitcase thumper and stogie-man were two different people, but perhaps they were cousins visting from the Land of Self-Entitlement. We did not use the outdoor pool given the relatively cool temperatures, but found the indoor pool and hot tub to be nice. As the only "option", a crowd did gather, but it was manageable. We did not use the hotel's restaurant, but it did seem to draw a decent crowd every night. The hotel is right next to the waterpark, and a few miles from Clark's and downtown Lincoln, so location is ver good. OVerall we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was very nice until they put like what sounded like a herd of elephants over us. It didn't quiet down until 11:00pm

All the amenities were very accessible. Our rooms we in a location that suited us perfectly. The back balcony overlooking the stream and trees was Terrific. We had all our meals in the restaraunt and all seven of us were pleasantly surprised by the very tasty seafood meal we had on Saturday night.

Nice, clean and quiet. Not much to do around it but a good place for a couple nights.

Location in perfect! Grounds, pools (indoor and out) restaurant are very nice. Rooms are badly in need of fixing/updating. Housekeeping is poor, we checked in to a room with ant covered candy on the floor. This was my second stay, hoping things had improved in 3 years. No luck I will not be back to the Woodward Resort.

We were traveling with four children so six of us total. We got the sweet that came with a separate room in the back with two beds then they fall kitchen and the front room with a foldout sofa. Naturally we put all the kids in the back room. The sofa was not comfortable but the staff quickly brought us an extra mattress topper to put on top of it and that took care of it. The bathroom was amazing a huge tub with jets. Was close to Franconia Notch and everything else we wanted to see there. Indoor heated pool was awesome and the tunnel from the pool back to our room made sure we stay warm. Highly recommend

The decor is out dated. But it was clean. The gentlemen was very pleasant when I checked in. All the staff was pleasant & helpful. The outdoor pool is very nice indoor too. But hated the carpet around the indoor pool area! For the $ it was well worth it!!!

Room smelled musty..staff polite..meals were expensive at their restaurant.. Good location.. Room rates lower than most..did not stay for final evening..left a day early...can you adjust my billing from three nights to only two ??? Thank you
