We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The amenities were as expected for this price range. Staff were nice and accommodating. The only real negative was an experience in the restaurant for breakfast where we sat for 15 minutes once being seated without anyone coming to our table. So we got up and left and ate elsewhere.

Great place to stay after viewing beautiful scenery through white mountains .. Nice areas to hike, not much else. Rooms were comfortable ... Steam room, jacuzzi , and pool area were clean and well tended .

I was in general very satisfied with the hotel. There were a few annoying little bugs in the bathroom The convenience of the Dining Room and the quality of the food was good. The guest computer which I used for e-mail was not satisfactory.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel as the room was very accommodating and the restaurant very reasonable. I have two complaints: the ice machine did not work and the air comditioning did not seem to work quite right....the room was either too cold or too warm since the thermostat did not seem to work automatically. They also advertise that they know about hiking trails in the area but they really didn't know much at all.

This is a great, cheap inn outside of gorham. We came for hiking and were not disappointed. The Pinkham Notch visitor center, where all the mt. Washington trails start, is only 12 miles away. The rooms were large, simple, and clean. The restaurant at the inn is fine. Great value.

Friendly staff, Very accomodating. Nice restaruant with reasonable prices. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Wifi worked with no problems.

Good basic motel in Gorham. Bed was comfortable but light on the blankets - you'll need to turn the heat up which is strange for a White Mountain motel. Food was good at the restaurant. Fairly quite considering there were snowmobilers' staying there.

We stayed 2 nights (8/6 to 8/8) and had some issues. The bathroom is incredibly small and the bathtub is kiddie size. The plumbing was all faulty - sink, bathtub and toilet all needed to be checked for plumbing issues. We had no hot water the first morning because their furnace broke down. Then we had to deal with some major construction work right outside our room (apparently part of the furnace repair process). The best part of the stay was the food. Great food, great service and excellent value for money. The menu is quite extensive and the quality of food is very good. 5 Star to the dining but 2 Star to the hotel itself.

I was worried that the motel would be of a lower quality becasue I made the reservation at the very last minute and most other places were either booked or way more expensive. We went skiing at Sunday River over the February holiday and wanted to stay overnight fairly close-by in order to skii early. Town and Country was 20 miles away, very easy to find, clean, professional and has an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and restaurant. The room was big and clean. It was just want we needed after a long day of skiing. Will probably do it again next year!

QUICK CHECK-IN. EXERCISE EQUIPMENT INCLUDED EVERYTHING YOU NEED.SWIMMING POOL WAS WELL HEATED AND CLEAN.STAFF VERY HELPFUL

I stayed here for four nights while snowboarding in New Hampshire and Maine. The Inn is about half an hour from several ski areas, so I never felt like I was running out of options. My room had older decor, but was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Heating worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. The food at the restaurant was good and fairly priced, and the service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. I will return to the Town and Country Inn the next time I go to the northern section of the White Mountains.

Great fall foliage view out the front room windows. Clean A little worn in spots. Staff does their best to please. Restaurant OK food. Surprised at how much more the reservation company charged than the amount invoiced by the hotel. A little farther from Mt. Washington in time than I expected.

Nice views around the hotel. Convenient parking right at the door of the room.

This is a pleasant motel, well cared-for. We really would have liked continental breakfast.

Had a very nice room overlooking the golf course across the road. Adequate dining room with good food. Good fitness center. A nice place to stay.

This is an older but well maintained resort motel. The restaurant was very good. Only spent one night passing through.

First off, I'd like to say that [...] Google, and my GPS all had the wrong address for the hotel. All of them listed the address as "20 US 2, Gorham, NH". We spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the hotel because we were misinformed. We finally went to Town & Country's own website and the address is actually "2 US 2 (or Main Street) Gorham, NH." Needless to say, we were peeved that we spent so much time driving around trying to find the place. Wrong address aside, the hotel was in a good location, especially if you snowmobile. The trails conveniently run right by the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I can't say much about the pillows because I always bring my own pillow when I stay at hotels. Something about using a pillow a dozen other people have used before freaks me out. There is a restaurant in the main hotel building (I don't know how the food is because I didn't eat there) and the staff were very friendly. The only downside to T&C is that the walls are VERY thin. When everyone was getting ready in the morning, we could hear the conversations going on in both of the rooms next to us as if we were in the room with the other people. Other than that, everything was great and I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice hidden gem, not too far from Sunday River, cheapest option in town for four people, nice pool/sauna. Good dining room and nifty live band

Nice place. Clean room. Good staff.
