The Coast Blackcomb Suites at Whistler

room is a bit tired, but clean. sofa bed is quite uncomfortable, so I recommend only using the bedrooms for sleeping. Hot tubs were good and pool was very warm. Breakfast has a wide selection, including fresh waffles. It doesn't vary during the week but is a very nice touch - we ate so much! Has a little snack store at the main desk, but no restaurant on site. The bus stop is right across the street and is very convenient (runs every 10 -15 min). Its about a 10-15 minute ride to bottom of Whistler. This is ski in-out for Blackcomb, but if you have a child in snowboard lessons, they only have them at Whistler, so this didn't work great for us. Staff was very friendly. We borrowed a DVD player for the room and they were quite helpful. Coin laundry available on site. Overall the hotel is fine- mostly families on spring break. I will note that its VERY quiet- we didn't hear anything in our room! It has a decent size balcony, but no view, even though we faced the slope - too many trees. Has a ski rental place onsite and they will store your skis for you for free.

Comfortable though not luxurious the suite hotel did everything we expected. Comfortable rooms of a good size, nice continental breakfast (great waffles!) and everything set up for skiers with helpful, knowledgable staff to look after and check your skis, bindings etc. Great location with true ski in, ski out right down to the lift and convenient to explore using the free shuttle bus which stops right outside the hotel. Would definitely return!

Second visit to The Coast, all staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, staff in the ski locker always happy to chat and wish you a good day. Breakfast is buffet style which suits me perfectly, the gluten free bread, cereal and separate toaster is an excellent option for me. Pool area and hot tubs are really clean and well maintained. Free shuttle bus into the village every 10 minutes ensures you can take advantage of the excellent restaurants in the area. There is a small gym area, but after a hard day skiing, didn't really use this, although others were. Will definitely be back

The room was nice but bathroom and kitchen need urgent make over. The complementary breakfast could be much much better. Location is great, amazing ski in ski out. Lovely to have ski rental in the hotel. Easy transportation having the bus stop in front of the hotel.

This is a great hotel for ski in and ski out. The ski valet would store our ski until we were ready to go out again. Clean big rooms and nice size kitchen. The breakfast was okay, it was very busy and not a lot of space.Would stay here again.

Just returned from another perfect week at Coast Whistler Blackcomb. Staff were brilliant and as usual made our stay that bit more special. This residence does not change from yearto year and we cannot wait to return next year.

Excellent location on Blackcomb. The re-modelling of the facility is timely. We would re-book at this location. The parking was expensive at $23.00 per day. We were not interested in the breakfast program. Too crowded. Might have it as an option

The overall impression of Blackcoumb Suites is good. The ski in-ski out location was really good. And the bus shuttle right outside the door to the village was very convenient and frequent. The hotel was OK. Breakfast left some to wish for but worked OK.

The suites have everything you need if you want to cook a meal rather than eat out every night you can as they have a full kitchen with reasonable pots and pans provided. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and well serviced. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good, nice waffles, loads of fruit and breads etc. Best thing is the location, quiet as at the top of Blackcomb but really well connected with free shuttle and easy to walk down to town too. All in all very happy with our stay. Pool nice, hot tubs get ridiculously busy after skiing but to be expected!!

Ideal accommodation for a couple of keen skiers. Spacious and quiet room. Sometimes a bit too warm but gas fire useful for drying out boots/ gloves etc. Ski in and out easily with ski hire shop in the building. Great bus service until late into Whistler and Blackcomb base, only 5 mins. Can also walk if weather permits. Friendly staff, happy to help. Small shop for snacks only. Hot chocolate a nice addition at the end of a long day on the slopes. Best b&b ski accommodation we have stayed in!
