Beautiful and well maintained property.
We stayed here for the first time on our honeymoon and LOVED everything about this property!
Beautiful place and the shuttle service was great!
We really loved everything about the hotel. The grounds were beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful, had a wonderful massage, and our room was nice. Only two downfalls were that we wanted to kayak and there was one one so my husband and I had to share a canoe (not a huge deal) and the last night we were there we had attempted to go to sleep early because we had a flight to catch the next morning in Vancouver and there were children running around screaming and making a ton of noise.
It’s a nice property, rooms are small but well equipped. It is generally quiet in a convenient location. Free shuttle service to the ski lifts and town is nice. During our stay the hot tub water did not look clean and the jets were not working. We were a bit concerned with our room but after complaining on this site were offered some better options . We did not feel like moving after unpacking. I think there may be management issues or just a fatigued staff after a long busy season.
We arrived at 10am to go to the spa and were told they would call us to let us know when room was ready. We never received a call then we lined up at 3:55 and waited while others were given rooms to be told to sit and wait. At 4:30 we get a room key and told our bags are in the room. Upon arrival there my were not. The sink was clogged so we called downstairs they sent Workman up right away who took almost two hours fixing it while the room smelled worse and worse of sewage. We called down and management sent up a chocolate Santa which was a week after Christmas (btw. We had no kids with us) we ended up moving rooms at 8pm and then we were told when we asked for late check out it was given on case by case in the morning. We spoke to the night manager who gave us a ticket for two free drinks at the bar and who told us she would let the day manager know. No one called us and we left before 12 the next day. We also went to CURE for the drinks had a lovely waitress who unfortunately served us the cheese board with moldy cheese on it which was terrible and they took it off the bill. Over all a bad experience with untrained staff and poor follow through.
Nice hotel - hit or miss with staff. Many seemed to be on a gap year.
We 100% fell in love with this hotel! Room 207 was like an absolute dream. The food was spectacular - cream of cauliflower! We will be back for winter vacation this year and hope to turn Anita lake lodge into our family tradition as we grow and have families of our own.
No complaints. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very professional and attentive.
I proposed to my now fiancee at the lodge and they were very helpful every step of the way. They made every effort to make our stay feel as special as possible.
If you're looking for an excellent resort without the hassle of being located in the village, look no further. This is an amazing property, located a short walk from the Creekside gondola (far less busy than the village lifts) and without the crowds and pretense of other, similar resorts. The on-site food is fantastic and two great eateries (Red Door Bistro and Creekbread Pizza) are within walking distance. The underground parking was ample, the room clean and in great shape, the design was awesome and the ski lockers at the base were a terrific bonus. Can't wait to return to Whistler and this great hotel.
liked the property and location did not like that they did nothing for our anniversary to show appreciation that we choose to celebrate with them also did not like the service from the front desk staff not up to the standard i was hoping for
Amazing hotel overall. The room and amenities are really good. Very cozy! The only thing wrong was that the toilet wasn't very clean. It smelled bad!
