The rooms were not modern with no phone in room or a clock so you could be woke up early to go fishing
Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Older rooms but very clean & comfortable. Nice views & excellent hotel staff plus they allow dogs which is a must have for me.
Efficient, clean, and the manager was a true gentleman. And the location is fantastic - you can hear the seals from your room!
Pretty rough. Old beds, really old bathrooms. The restaurant and lounge were closed. The window was so dirty you couldn’t see out.
I booked a room with two queen beds for my daughter and myself. When we checked in, they told me they were sorry but didn't have a room with two queens. Only a small room with one queen bed. Isn't that what a reservation is for? They discounted my rate (as they should have), and we found that the couch had a flimsy foldout bed. But it was cramped and uncomfortable, and colored my whole perception of the place. It probably wouldn't have been too bad if it was just me, or we had gotten the room I booked. It was a bit of a dive but ok, it did look as if the bathroom had recent work which was good. But because of my experience, and the knowledge that this could happen again, I won't be going back again.
Comfortable room in a great location. The view from our room was nice. It was worth it, especially since we were able to bring our two dogs for a nominal fee. The people who ran the hotel were super nice!
Three Guys, Three generations go on fishing trip to remember. My Husband, Son & Grandson stayed her a their fishing trip. I booked it on line it said 3.5 stars like most places in Westport. My Son was so disgusted that he would not bring in his bag, only the this he absolutely had to. And this was after they went looking for a different place to stay with no luck. :-( They ran out of hot water when showering. All in all this place is old and in need of major updating. Find another place to stay
Upon checking in there was a foul smell in the room. We opened the window to try and let it out but found out the smell was coming from the fridge. We notified the staff but nothing was done. We had to use body spray to try and cover up the smell. We also found condoms under the bed, the floor was stained and dirty as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a couple of days. I do not recommend this place.

We apologize for only having a room with one queen bed and a sofa sleeper available for your stay. We offered you a roll away bed and you opted for the hydabed already in your room, instead. We hope providing you a cash refund on your already vastly discounted room was sufficient to make up for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
