The building needs updating for the price. They charged me more than what was quoted with orbitz. They charge also for valet and I never used it. The best part is the ocean view but there is no balcony and if you open door extremely loud. I won’t stay here again. It wasn’t terrible but not worth the price.
I wouldnt recommend for a quiet place to stay. If you want a club with loud music this is the hotel for you.

Very clean resort. employees were very friendly. However, I was constantly frustrated at how much money i paid, but yet they could not provide simple things that would have made me feel that the resort fee was worth it. I paid a lot of money for ocean view room for 4 days. The room was small. Bathroom did not have a real door and there was a window in the bathroom to the bedroom. it was covered by why? so the entire room can smell when someone uses the toilet? so dumb. I had hate that I was told at 6pm that the pool bar was closed!!!!! At 5pm i was kicked out of my beach lounge chair because they had to put them away! I was told I had to pay an extra 30 dollars if i wanted an umbrella!!! Hire more employees and pay t hem more (because i know darn well you can). I won't be coming back to this hotel. Broke the bank for nothing.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but AC unit was loud. We also stayed in an Executive Suite, but the furniture in the room was not useful. The couch was not a real couch, and the TV channels were limited with no guide. The property was a little cramped and there was a lot of twists and turns to get around the hotel. Didn’t really have a nice flow.
Liked the access to the beach and that they provided beach chairs. Very chaotic check in and had problems with the bill. Have yet to have someone contact me back despite several emails and phone calls.
We got off our cruise ship and arrived in Fort Lauderdale at the resort before 10 am, fully expecting we wouldn’t be able to check in for hours. But they were able to offer us our preferred room right away, which made our last day before returning home amazing. Great pool area and Lona restaurant was amazing. Very friendly staff.
The staff was amazing and so friendly
Overall great area if you want beach access. The staff was excellent, had some places to eat in the resort area. The only thing that could of made the stay even better is sound proofing the walls, please. We could hear people talking outside and babies crying during sleep hours but that didn't ruin the trip for us! The resort is still good.

There were traffic jams in the driveway every single night, no porter at the front to direct traffic. Be try poorly organized. The walls in the bathroom were filthy. I asked someone at the front desk to have someone clean the bathroom walls and he obviously never did, because the brown splatters all over the walls were still there until the end of our stay. Definitely not worth $750/night.
The property in general is nice. I was looking for an ocean view, and that is what I got. Overall, it was a nice stay. I have stayed at the hotel before, but I was disappointed with a few things. When housekeeping went to clean the room, they took towels which we had used, but didn't replace them. The ice machine on my floor wasn't working. I had asked the front desk staff for champagne glasses, and I was sent on a wild goose chase. All minor things except the fact that the pool area was PACKED with people. There was no social distancing at all.

I am so sorry that you feel that way. We do have a resort fee and a valet fee that are not included with the reservation. We hope you give us another opportunity to showcase a true Westin experience.
