The main lobby was clean, neat and presentable however the room was not. The room had an old dingy, stained carpet and wet between the two beds, the A/C unit was annoying but as weather continued to get warmer, it ran non stop and was extremely loud on our last night. A flashing light came through the door at night. We had to get our key card reprogrammed 4 times during a 3 night stay. The construction next door was all day jack hammering noises and no peacefulness by pool/resort area… Lastly, do not buy food or drinks, it’s a third party company. The guy serving/ bartending scammed us on two drinks, don’t waste your money $$$$ or time on the food or drink service. You’re better off ordering take out and going to the package store.
We were looking for a last minute hotel for a decent price. This location was close to the beach and had a pool so we decided to book it. The amenities were nice, the rooms appearance needed updating. You could tell this was an old property and they did their best to keep it clean. As we enjoyed our stay, this will not be our first pick if we return.

Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, which was the primary reason for our choice. However, while the beach and pool facilities met our expectations, we found the rooms to be outdated. The beds were uncomfortably small, the bathroom vanity and shower head were broken, which detracted from our overall experience. Updating the rooms promptly would greatly enhance the quality of the stay. Ps: You have to pay for parking and beach chairs. Food is not good at all.
Very under staffed. Only one bartender at the tiki bar. She was awesome but needed more help. They were renovating building next door so we had that noise all day long. Staff would not exchange my wet used beach towel for a fresh one.

There was terribly loud construction on both sides of building the entire weekend and holiday. No break from the noise. Had to walk far on the beach to get away from the loud construction noise. I bet when it’s finished it will be beautiful. Walls were also very thin could hear a man snoring next door. Location was prime away from the hussle and bussle but close to lauderdale by the sea, took many walks there. Uber eats had tons of options to be delivered! Staff was so friendly and accommodating through our entire stay.

Not a 4 star hotel like Orbitz advertises- it is much closer to a 3 star - not awful but you should know what you are getting unlike we did. If I pay for 4 star, it's what I expect. Pro's- great outdoor patio and beach area, beds are clean and comfortable, bathroom in room was updated. Con's- the rooms and facility are outdated and musty. The AC unit has to remain on and at 68 degrees at all times per the hotel or you get condensation on the walls (you can see old water stains on the walls and ceiling) while this may work in the warmer months, this is not ideal in December. The walls are thin, you will hear everyone around you. The room has a partial ocean view balcony but the door to the balcony has 3 rusty locks on it; why the extreme security measure? 2 of the 3 elevators were having issues- 1 was broke completely, while the other stopped intermittently with people on it. The restaurant food was not worth the money at all. We ended up at the tiki bar and restaurant at the hotel next door (Ocean Manor Beach Resort) They REALLY go over their nonsmoking facility policy yet on many occasions during our 4 nights there, we saw multiple groups having hookah parties on the pool deck (day and night)- the workers did nothing, maybe they paid the $250 fine to do so? either way, they don't enforce their policy so if that's your thing, you may like it here. Although this place was not horrible, we would NEVER stay again- there are much better places for the $$ in the area.

Nice location right in front of the beach! Two major issues for us: we asked them when. We arrived and about two other times during the week about the late check out option for $100 which is stated on their website since our flight was at 8:30pm. They told us to call the morning of. We called 4:55am and 7:05am only to be told no. HUGE INCONVENIENCE!! I am exhausted with circles under my eyes as I write this review. We also did not receive housekeeping services for 2 of the 5 days we were there. Of course on our last morning, they knocked on the door before 11am to come in and clean. How convenient! Not sure how the other hotels are in the area but I would carefully reconsider if you choose this hotel.

Loved the pool, beach and restaurant. The rooms were clean. Waiter was AWESOME, such a nice guy. We rented cabana poolside and it was just as expected. $67 for the day.

Thank you for your feedback! We do have newly renovated premium rooms on our 9th and 8th floor to choose from. All of our rooms have partial views of the ocean from the balconies. The parking and beach chair rentals are third party onsite.
