This is what a motel is supposed to be. Lots of parking. Big, clean rooms with lots of work space. Hot showers with lots of water pressure. Easy check-in and check-out. Lots of restaurants nearby. I’ve been trying several hotels in the area and this one is the best so far, especially for the price and location.
I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night because there were bad bugs TERRIBLE
The Geneva Motel Inn is a well run lodging. It doesn't boast a lot of high-ticket features or amenities, but it is a clean, comfortable place to stay without spending a great deal of money. It is also within driving/walking distance of the downtown area.
Nice and convenient location . Clean and comfortable accommodations, friendly staff.
Was traveling with our dog. Pet rate was minimal but the room had an odor of dog urine, clean otherwise.
The Indian gentleman at the front desk was rude on checking in and the Indian lady the next morning at the front desk was rude. The room on orbitz said smoking room available but the comferter had multiple cigarette burns and smelled like a cigarette.
I was given a 'smoking room' even though I had not booked that. The room looked like it had been used already. An empty soap wrapper, burn holes in bed spread and sheets and some kind of red stains on the dirty carpet. I couldn't believe I had paid almost $100 for it. Disgusting!!
Hotel coupd use some updating, the kids said the pool was very salty and there was skids of salt in the pool room. Hot tub sweet is nice and big with a private room. But tge bathroom w/ the hottub is in the sitting area. Breakfast is blah...
Was very nice room, very quiet, and clean. I felt safe with deadbolt lock on the door. Will go back and stay in the future.
I needed a late checkout since I was running a marathon in St. Charles and would not be finished before the 11:00 checkout time. They only charged me an additional $10, and were very accommodating about it. Nice owners.
