Sheets and towels never got changed our . Room was not up to par. Fridge was hot. Room and bathroom were might smell.
My wife and I enjoyed the room with a few exceptions. When we arrived, we found white cleaning powder on the bathroom floor and the hotel smelled of smoke. Staff wasn't available for checkout for several minutes which delayed us. Small grab and go breakfast but as advertised. Good stay overall. Comfortable king bed and good temperature controls.
You pay for what you get. And even then I feel I paid a little more than I should have. The staff was friendly. Helped us when necessary. But everytime we saw them in the lobby they were lounging and gossiping. The grab n go "breakfast" was so-so. Coffee was amazing. Our toilet was extremely loud when it flushed. The bathroom had a cockroach or two when we checked in. The shower curtain and towels need some severe updating. The towels were rough and barely dried you off. And the shower curtain didn't do a very decent job at keeping the water in the shower. The bed was quite comfy and the rest of the room was decent for the 5 days we stayed there. Small kitchenette would have come in handy if we weren't in town visiting family. All in all it wasn't the worst place to stay. Just needs a few improvements.
My stay was fine and what I expected from an extended stay hotel. No frills, do not clean room. It was convenient to where I was working.
We usually stay in nice places - we have never had someone at the desk argue that our bed is full size and we know very well it is a double; we have a queen size at home. They did not even know what the Signature begging kits we paid extra were - we had hoped they were to make the beds more comfortable. Plus a very small tv maybe a 19" looks like the kind we see here out on the streets for throughouts -We havent been in a reasonabley priced hotel lately that didnt at least have small flatscreens.
The purpose of our trip was house hunting prior to moving for a new job. The front desk is only open from 7 AM until 11 PM, even though there is a full time attendant present 24 hours. You have to call them on a phone provided in the foyer or by a cell phone to check in after hours. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are nicely furnished although the hotel in general was no frills with only one vending area on the main floor and the aforementioned desk hours. There is an elevator making the transfer of luggage upstairs much easier if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor. I believe the hotel attracts more business clientèle than families or vacationers so it seemed much quieter, particularly on the weekend. Overall I found the Extended Stay America Hotel to be comfortable and fairly priced and would not hesitate to book there again.
