Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa4.0 out of 5.0

This hotel is far more than a corporate one. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Staff efficient and friendly. Complimentary spa with slippers and robe in room. Our only gripe is that the drinks are very expensive, and we’re used to Southern prices! Also the restaurant food was good but not great. However, we definitely would return.
This is a large, clean, modern hotel situated just off the M1 motorway. The rooms are a good size, staff pleasant and helpful and the food is simply out of this world. If you need any items you have left at home there is an adjacent retail park including various take-away food outlets. The large roaring fire they have in reception is a nice feature initially. However, if you are working in the balcony / landing area above it you can get quite overcome with the smoke it gives off. I would certainly recommend given the excellent service and quality of food.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon with my friend for a spa time and afternoon tea. From the moment you enter the spa reception, you are treated with a warm smile and get all the information for the day. We were taken to the area with the lockers, changed into our fluffy clean robes and slippers when left in the pool are to relax. Swam and enjoyed the Jacuzzi pool too. Then we went for our treatments, My therapist was Karen, and my treatment amazing, felt so relaxed after. Then we relaxed in a beautiful relaxation area were we could have warm drinks or water and lots of nuts too. Afterwards we changed and went for our afternoon tea, which was fresh, tasty and every bite was absolutely lovely. What really amazed me is how clean every area was, every corner, every part we visited spotless and all members of staff friendly, polite and helpful! It was a day to remember and definitely will be coming back. Thank you
This highly rated hotel was in a commercial area and very difficult to find in the dark because of poorly placed signs. (The sat nav only took us to the area). We had a suite that was spacious but badly in need of refurbishment. The decor was dark and in our view unattractive. The bathroom was fresher and the shower was excellent, as were the toiletries. It was a pity that the safe was broken and couldn't be fixed. There's a large swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Checking in took over 20 minutes. 2 staff could not cope with the flood of arrivals. We stayed 2 nights. Having left the hotel before 9 am, we returned at 2pm to find cleaners in our room. When we asked why it had not been cleaned earlier, one cleaner was unnecessarily quite rude. We reported this but have yet to hear anything from management, despite promises to contact us.
Following a very traumatic week of finding our house flooded after coming back from holiday, I would like to thank the lovely people of Thorpe Park for their hospitality given our current situation. They have treated us like part of their family and even treated our little boy to the little VIP service so he feels like a million dollars. God bless Thorpe Park !
We had amazing time in this hotel . A lovely hotel with excellent customer service , very clean surrounding , great service , friendly and attentive staff and relaxing environment . Highly recommended
How do you like your eggs in the morning? I'm very fortunate to be able to stay in the very best hotels in the world. 5, 6 and even 7 star hotels are my staple. This week I'm in Leeds and experienced a memorable visit. I took breakfast Monday morning and the breakfast staff couldn't do enough for me, they took time ( just the right amount of my time ) to engage with me and create a memorable experience which set me up for my day. This morning as I sat down for breakfast I was asked if I wanted my two soft poached eggs on toast? They remembered me, I felt valued and welcome, an experience all hotel guests should experience every day. Was it the fancy restaurant ?, the spa? The luxury bedroom ? No!, it was the people. The people understand how they would like to be treated and treated me the same. Simple. Well done Thorpe Park Hotel in Leeds , your Breakfast staff are amazing . How’s was your hotel breakfast this morning? #besttrainingever. nickkeep.com
We (my wife, son and I) stayed here at very late notice due to arriving home from holiday and finding our house flooded due to a burst pipe! The hotel staff could not have been any more accommodating and really showed empathy towards our stressful situation. We were really looked after the minute we arrived at the hotel and the manager couldn’t do enough for us, all of which really helped ease some of the stresses of the flooded home! The food in the restaurant was excellent and extremely tasty, and again the restaurant staff couldn’t do enough for us. This is an extremely customer service focused hotel and one I would definitely recommend to others. They really helped turn around a stressful situation for us into a very pleasant and relaxing one. A huge thumbs up from me. 👍🏻
my partner booked 1 night as an extra treat after visiting a local attraction , Diggerland . my heart sank when we walked in covered in mud with our 2 children . it is very smart and obviously used by business people . But we were made very welcome , the interlocking rooms were immaculate with lovely decor and little treats for the children in the fridge and cookie and milk left before bed. the food was pricey as we expected but delicious , the spa pool clean and relaxing and could be used by families ( check for classes , there was an aqua aerobics but we were able to use the back of the pool with the baby and nobody challenged us. we had a superb time and it was great to give our children a taste of luxury , they are begging to go back , and we will be very happy to return x
I spent a well-needed 3 day break here last month. Attention to detail was excellent, including allocating me a bedroom close to the spa treatment area, providing fresh, high quality toiletries every day, and the coffee machine and fridge with fresh milk and water in the room. I had one of the best facials I have ever had, and was very impressed with the pool, steam room and Jacuzzi. It was great to see this area being well used throughout the day. Service was friendly and attentive in all areas, and I was delighted to find British staff employed in all departments - great to see that we are still choosing hospitality as a career in this country! Food was also of a high standard, and it was a bonus to have the flexibility of dining in the restaurant, bar & room service. It is rare to find such a large hotel where it would appear that they get everything right. Well done to the GM and the whole team here. I'll be back!
