A nice hotel, well laid it, clean and modern. Staff were friendly, location near to the station shops and restaurants was also good. Breakfast on Sunday was nice but maybe a little chaotic. Good value for money.
First time we have stayed here and it was fabulous. Hotel ver6bmodern and the room we booked, an executive wa# well worth the little extra. Ordered a breakfast to the room must say it was one of the best I have had in any hotel I h#ve stayed in. Highly recommended
First time staying at a novatell hotel. On check in we was upgraded to a superior room for free. Staff were friendly and helpful.food and drink was spot on. Definitely stay here again and would recommend
I was booked into this hotel by my organisation so had a prepaid voucher. Upon arrival I parked in the underground car park and took the lift to reception where I couldn't have been greeted in a more friendly way- even being escorted to a check in desk and being given a complimentary glass of wine! The room was an excellent size (room 542) with a very comfy bed, a sofa and a huge desk. I had some work to do but did find the lamp was too far along the desk to be effective so went to the bar instead ;-) The bathroom arrangement was slightly unusual. The lavatory was in a separate room to the sink and bath and wasn't very sound proof judging by next room, so when using the toilet had to remember to go next door to the sink. The bath was a curious experience which had high plastic walls instead of tiles, with a tap with shower head half way up the wall. For the life of me, I could not work out how to change the flow of water from the tap to the shower. If I had more time I would have called reception but had a bath instead. The room was very soundproofed despite being in the town centre and with storm Ophelia blasting the country and I didnt notice any external noise. Breakfast was excellent, self service with hot plates- really hot plates and delicious sausages. Checkout was good and I was able to leave my car there until my meeting the next day had finished. The only issue I encountered was that i was charged for breakfast which was included in the room booking and pre paid. Many hotels in the UK don't print copies of bills to save paper but it does mean that mistakes like this can be overlooked. I have emailed the hotel and I am sure they will sort the error. I would definitely stay here again but not at the full rack or published rate
Check in was straight forward. Room was modern and well appointed. Good size TV. Good bathroom and accessories. Quiet location, good for sleeping. Plenty or restaurants, yes I and Starbucks within walking distance.
Some issues with meeting room booked - manager sorted them out for us. Bedrooms fairly large, well thought out and clean. Food lovely & plentiful, servers polite & helpful. Hotel location excellent - close to train station & shopping.
Great hotel friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was wonderful and the bar is great. Rooms are always very clean and the beds very comfy its close to the rail station also great for shopping with the trinity 5 mins walk away. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family
Poor service from one of the reception staff, and only improved when Damiano( I think that was his name) intervened and upgraded my room. He deserves recognition for saving the reputation of the hotel, which is well located, 10 minute walk from Leeds Rail station and superior and executive rooms are good.
Really lovely hotel, a short walk from Leeds station. Nice size rooms with a shower and bath and a fridge which is always a bonus. Helpful reception and bar staff. Stayed for business but would happily stay again for personal visit.
Stayed at this hotel for three nights for a business trip. Only ended up needing two nights but couldn't get a refund back for the third which was a little disappointing. The bar is nice, and the food in the soap factory was pretty good. The room was clean and spacious although the lighting was a little dim which when working late was a little hard. My main issue was that it wasn't entirely clear where anything was. When I arrived no one told me about the times for breakfast, where the gym was, or about any of the facilities. I didn't actually get to use the gym so cant comment on it, but I can say that there aren't signs around to identify where anything is clearly. Breakfast seemed decent enough although a little on the pricey side. Would stay again if on business.
