The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size. The breakfast was excellent, staff courteous and helpful, the location was perfect, good value for money for the stay. I would have given 5/5 but £12 per day for parking was quite toppy. I will go back though.
A great hotel located well in the city only minutes walk away from the station. Staff were extremely welcoming. The room was clean and had all the facilities. The view from the room wasn't great. But the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Car parking may have been pricey (£12 per day), but that's the going rate in the city. And the car park is secured.
Great overall Good customer service, nice room, nice restaurant for evening meal and convenient location and parking. Definitely stay here for the rooms Only loses one mark because the breakfast is of terrible quality and massively overpriced - so eat your breakfast elsewhere
I have been twice in Novotel for Conferences in Leeds and I found it a very good option. The hotel is very close to the train station, just two blocks away, and not far from Leeds University. Food is excellent and the attention from everybody is great. The waitress Silvi was excellent at The Soap Factory restaurant, very helpful and nice. I highly recommend the hotel.
As an Accor group member, it was a no brainer in stayed here for a city break trip to Leeds. The trip was made all the more special by balloons and a birthday card for my girlfriend as well! Parking was easy and reasonably priced at £12 for 24 hours, location fantastic (5-10min walk into city centre) and staff were brilliant - breakfast I have to say was lovely in terms of quality and choice. Probably the best I’ve actually experienced in a hotel chain. Would thoroughly recommend. P.S. treat yourself to an executive room!
We stayed here over the weekend for a birthday celebration. I had emailed in advance about this and they upgraded us and left me a birthday card. I thought this was a lovely touch. The room was modern and clean and had adequate space. I loved the walk in shower which looked into the bathroom, but then by pressing a button the glass would turn frosted for privacy. A cool gadget and i love things like that. Excellent display of toiletries everything you could need. I liked the offer of complimentary bottled water too. There was also a fancy coffee machine in the room and a fridge. Plenty of storage space. Bed was comfortable although it was set upon some sort of metal frame that made a noise as you got on it. Fine once you were in. The room was quiet and we slept well. We didn't have breakfast. Any staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
The room is very big. We went as a couple in August 2017 and the rooms were brilliantly sized. You get a sofa, TV, huge amounts of room and a massive bed. The bed was lovely and soft and we both slept like logs, and the air conditioning was a god send as the rooms can get very warm. We stayed years before and this is a huge improvement. The only down side is it is quite the journey from the city centre, which aids in it being quiet, but can be a long walk back at night.
Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff and an ideal location 5 minutes walk from the train station. I asked for a quiet room and slept well. The superior room facilities were very good - a huge TV, fridge, rainfall shower and a comfy bed. I couldn't get the coffee machine to produce anything more than lukewarm water, but the kettle was just fine. Would stay again.
after a complete disaster to the start of the eater hols we managed to get booked into the novotel leeds. I love it here the staff are lovely and always so welcoming. Karina who runs the bar is lovely and always so friendly and loves my sisters dog and makes a fuss when she sees him. Even the weather you can stand if the comfort is there. Only could get a standard room this time as really busy for easter but still an excellent room and the room service and girls who clean your room are great. We also had a huge TV which Matt my son loved! Thanks Novotel for fitting us in!!! and Thanks my Sister and her husband for the weekend!!!!
This hotel gives a great first impression from the moment you meet the staff at reception ..... and the impression remains! Staff are excellent, the rooms are comfortable and well fitted. The bar and food areas are good and the restaurant for breakfast is efficient. All of the staff were friendly and courteous and would go ‘that extra mile’ to help. Parking at the hotel is a little ‘tight’ and limited but there is a large public car park 5 minutes away. Highly recommend this hotel.
