Location is spot on, over the road from the trinity centre, round the corner from train station . Call lane and Merrion st right on your door step for your night out too!! It's clean , staff want the most friendliest don't recall on the valet parking.
We've just come back from a two night stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed ! As it was a special occasion we chose to stay in an executive room and it was amazing! The room was clean and spacious with the added bonus of chocolates in the room and robes and slippers! The best perk was the executive lounge this was great and the 'snacks' were so tasty and had so much variety. The hotel in general is well maintained, ideal location, the staff were all lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and open to a decent time. You can park in the trinity hotel and the hotel give you discount so it's £9 over 24 hours! Bargain for how central you are to the city centre (literally a walk over the road!) We will be returning as we loved it!
Specifically booked here having had good experiences with other Marriott hotels, but it didn't meet expectations. Hotel is in a great city centre location - when we eventually found it!! Would have been better to use the Trinity Car Park Postcode with sat-nav, as we went round in circles for a while (admittedly not helped by road closures that are not the hotel's fault). Room was clean and beds were very comfy, but shower could have done with being hotter and placed higher. I'm 5"8 and barely fit under the shower head, so goodness knows how you'd manage if you were over 6ft!! Breakfast wasn't as good as the last Marriott we stayed in (Slough) but staff were friendly.
Been here many times and we are never found wanting of service and pleasing staff. Location is the best and staff all willing and attentive to make your stay the best it can be. Big golden smile from Lamin as always. Paul and George in the executive lounge for their excellent hospitality. All ladies at breakfast who are always there for great service with a smile. The staff in the the iron bar for fast efficient service. Will return very soon, would highly recommend and visit again.
A nice family friendly hotel, with clean rooms. The hotel is very conveniently located with easy access to the City centre and the railway station. The staff is also very helpful. The hotel is also family friendly.
Stayed here with a friend so we could do our Christmas shopping then enjoy a night out in Leeds. The location could not be better! Perfect for shopping and the nightlife of Leeds. Would definitely recommend and would stay here in again on my next trip. Hotel itself is good, clean and comfy beds, exactly as you'd expect from Marriott.
Me and my partner was invited here with a charity event for Veterans, the Not Forgotten Association, they hosted the Christmas event, but we had a 3 course meal which went down the hatch no problem, the staff made us feel very welcome, a drink on entry a good chat with friends then the entertainment was fantastic, just A shame I couldn't have a drink as I was driving, but still we had a fantastic day, thanks to the brilliant staff and hope to be there again later in the year for another bash 😊
Hello , Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Marriott Leeds hotel . I was very disappointed with the standard of the rooms provided I've stayed in many Marriott hotels throughout the UK and never seen such a tatty - dirty room . First thing I noticed was the overall tired condition of my room 508 .The room my son and his girlfriend had wasn't far behind either plus I only found out on the second day he had a problem with the room aircon. In my room when I went in I picked up a bottle of your water to have a drink only to find it was half finished already by the previous occupant. The face towel in my bathroom was so worn it had a hole right through it , One of the pillows in my room was dirty , my wife couldn't make the trip so I used the others. However I left it on the end of the bed to get changed but the cleaner simply put it back on the bed !! The rest of the room was scruffy with marks on the walls small tears on the wall paper plus the red chair in the room looked like something had been chipping away at it . All in all not a very enjoyable stay.
Very disappointed with this hotel , from the shabby carpet to the noisy room . I am shocked this is rated as a 4* hotel it really does need to be reviewed as the prices do not match the quality !! The bathroom sink was stained , the carpet fraying around the edge of the room grubby walls and no fridge . These rooms are very basic I've stayed in better hotels at half the price . I would probably say the location is the only bonus to this hotel. I don't think I will be staying here again .
Well another son graduating from Leeds meant another night at the Leeds Marriott. We did look at doing this stay on points but the online rate we got at the Marriott website was so good we paid and saved the points for another time. I am a Marriott Platinum member. I've reviewed the hotel a couple of times previously and most of what i said last time holds true. This time we stayed a Sunday night and did use the facilities. The hotel is very central and everywhere in the city centre is walking distance. You park in the NCP car park around the corner and, after getting your ticket validated by the hotel, you only pay £9 for 24 hrs. Room was standard Marriott full service (i.e. comfortable with all the accessories, etc.). Wifi worked well. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi are in a compact basement location but were all working if slightly crowded. The club lounge was fine although busy. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Another good stay.
