An older Hotel but still has a charm and appeal that is worth exploring. On arrival the reception staff are aware of IHG members and offer additional service and assistance as they have available. Good rooms, very quiet and a great location.
Stayed for one night on business. Great location for business and pleasure if staying in Leeds. Nice clean hotel which looks as if it has recently had a refurbishment. I was welcomed by friendly staff and had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was nice. My only niggle was that the shower in my room had very low pressure.
Arrived before check in time on a Sunday, very polite and helpful reception staff, decided to wait at the bar and had excellent sandwiches, albeit pricey. Checked in about 230pm still early and was given a very nice room, which had a mini fridge with a bottle of wine which my daughter had requested for birthday. TV had problems which was being looked into,no signal/reception, on some channels. But the room was more than comfortable and clean with all the amenities .Breakfast was excellent, buffet style, but first morning bacon was a little well done under the servery light, but improved second morning. Service excellent and well worth a visit when in Leeds. On check out we had several hours to wait for return journey and were able to leave luggage until required, very helpful.
This hotel is absolutely excellent. Location is perfect - 5/10 min walk from the station, few shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel. Really easy to get a taxi at night to the centre - also really cheap. Immaculately clean and tidy, the interior is beautiful. Staff are always happy to help with any queries you may have, beds are really comfortable. TV, kettle and fridge in room. Couldn't fault a single thing. Great weekend away.
Stayed for one night on Saturday 16th September, hotel was spotless and modern, all staff were really cheery and informative, would recommend using the spa facilities, plus car parking was cheap too! Only snag was the water pressure in the shower being poor, other than that a superb time was had!
We hadn't even checked in before Mike a member of staff showed us round the Hotel Public Areas. The girls on reception were great and most helpful and friendly as were all the Staff. Our room was on the top floor and personally for someone who doesn't particularly like heights this was not a problem at all. The room was immaculately clean and really well appointed to a high standard. Food and beverages are really nice and we were surprised at the breakfast because most 'buffet style' offerings are often dry a bit, the breakfast here is one of the best and well worth recommending. The complimentary leisure facilities (as a guest) looked really welcoming but sadly as we only stayed one night we did not get chance to try but will certainly revisit the hotel again. The Hotel has its own on site Car Park, but bear in mind they charge you £15 a night for the pleasure which I always find a bit cheese paring as you are bringing custom to their establishment but having said that most do it these days. !! Certainly would recommend this Hotel not only for the place itself but you have all the shops and attractions Etc. that Leeds City Centre has to offer in easy walking distance, We wll certainly revisit.
My friend had his wedding here last night and we had a great time, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was superb, it has a very modern feeling and we were very impressed with it. Only thing I would say is the shower doesn't have lots of pressure which was a bit frustrating. Breakfast in the morning was very good and would recommend a stay there to anyone.
Spent two nights at the Crowne Plaza Leeds. Room was comfortable, but little things let it down for the price. Lack of water pressure on the second floor left you running around in the shower to get wet, then running around to get the soap off. The bath just would not fill. A lovely view of the bins. I applaud the "green initiative" of not having your room cleaned if you are staying a second night, but it means that you do not get a refill of coffee milk and sugar or bottled water. I thought this was a green initiative until I realised it was just a money saving exercise, along with charging 14p per minute for ringing the hotel to confirm the booking, and £25 per night to park your car, and not even under cover. The final straw was being told in the restaurant that there was no black pudding! In Yorkshire? Then at breakfast, no marmalade! Sorry Leeds Crowne Plaza, but for the price I expected better.
Arrived in Leeds late in the day and managed to get a twin room for the night. Two double beds and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you would expect from a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and a good breakfast was served. I did not have time to try spa facilities, pool or gym but the rest of hotel was lovely and parking available. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Leeds.
Stayed here on business for 4 nights. Friendly and efficient check in and ample car parking ay £15 per day. Bar service, menu and atmosphere great. Had access to Club Lounge, with drinks and snacks served by friendly waiter. Noted door never closed properly, and heard some guests saying they didn't have access but heard drinks and snacks free, so maybe this needs looking at? Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Hotel close to city centre and transport links. Highly recommended.
