My husband and I stayed for 2 nights visiting family. Our King double room was quite small and stuffy and rather warm which prevented sleep. We invited some friends to meet us at the hotel for a meal but were very disappointed by the lack of character and atmosphere in the dining room .The quality of food was at best average but expensive. Breakfast on our second morning was accompanied by very loud music from an adjoining room hired out to a gospel church. The drums and singing were so loud we could not hold a conversation - even the staff seemed surprised . The soundproofing in the hotel was poor which was unfortunate as it seemed to host several hen and stag parties who arrived back in the hotel about 3am. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff were helpful but if you are not in Leeds to sample the nightlife probably not the best place to stay. We will look for somewhere else next time.
Stayed here for 1 night on business after recommendation from a friend. I may have just been unlucky, but I won't be staying again. Bed was large and comfortable, the bedding crisp and spotless. Bathroom was nice and clean and the breakfast choice excellent. However my stay was spoilt by dirty and stained furnishings in the room, a dodgy electrical socket, and a leaking shower control. Also whilst eating in the hotel my waitress delivered my meal and then spent 25 minutes talking to someone at another table and totally ignoring everyone else. She didn't even move when I left without paying even though I know she saw me get up before returning immediately back to talking. The receptionists I complained to didn't appear to be surprised and there was no real apology. I have stayed in other hotels in Leeds, all of which offered a much better experience, friendlier staff and better accommodation.
Hotel lovely and clean with polite and helpful staff. Super king size bed which was heavenly to sleep in. Great for parking just under the hotel plus they got a Lift that take you to the reception area.
I have been a regular guest at this hotel and if you every get a room on floor 1-4 you can say goodbye to the desire of staying at this hotel. The rooms are really old, dark red fitted carpets (extremely dirty), lighting is awful if you want to take your work to your hotel room and bad customer service.
Just had a lovely couple of nights at the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located close to the city centre and the hotel is very well presented with excellent facilities and a great standard of service. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. The hotel breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the hotel is bar on a night time was an excellent way to finish the night off, would i stop at this hotel again yes no problem.
Decent comfortable stay here at the end of last month. Good view from room and it had a bath and a fridge with 2 bottles of water complimentary. Large busy bar downstairs which maybe explains why they ran out of hand pulled ale while I was there. There was only a choice of one which is poor. Breakfast buffet carry on with food not fully warm. Hate that. Would return though.
I have been staying here regularly for a few years and I always re book when in Leeds. The staff are really friendly and genuine which makes a business stay a bit more palatable. The location is great for restaurants and the city centre and you can always get a parking space.
My work colleagues and I decided to have lunch here, we pre ordered and must say we had a great time. The food was waiting for us when we arrived. We all got what we ordered and enjoyed it. The portions were all of a decent size
I stayed here with two of my friends for one night to celebrate my friends 21st. The rooms were clean and lovely, and we had a double and single bed which was great as its hard to find hotel rooms that accommodate 3 people in one room. It is in perfect location to the city centre about a 5 minute walk to bars/restaurants. Also highly recommend getting breakfast included as its amazing.
Stayed Friday night in November. Excellent value for money it's worth so much more than what we paid. Bedrooms clean and spacious with all the facilities you need like tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel etc. Car parking is available for £12. We are in the restaurant for lunch the next day and the food was good and tasty. Would recommend and will be back again if I return to Leeds. Thank you.
