I stayed at the Clayton Hotel whilst visiting Leeds on business. I often find that hotels catering for business travellers can be quite impersonal and soleless. Not so with the Clayton. The price was extremely reasonable and my room had everything I needed and was a great size. There was plenty of on site parking although like many city centre hotels you did have to pay extra. £12 for the night at the time of my stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and really knowledgeable about the local area. Although I didn't eat in the hotel I did have a drink in the bar and the food I saw being served looked great. All in all great value for money if you want a hotel just outside the middle of town. Would definitely stay again.
We had our wedding Here and cannot fault the venue or staff, from planning to the actual day, Hotel was beautiful especially in the sun. Definitely recommend whether it's for a little Break or something bigger like a wedding 👏🏻
Stayed here for the night and it was just like being at home. The beds were comfy the rooms where spotless and very clean. There's a kettle iron and hairdryer in the room and towels. The staff were very friendly and offered to order a taxi for us. We didn't use any facilities such as the gym during our stay but maybe perhaps staff could shed a little light on where this is when people check it. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Just got back yesterday and this hotel is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them. The rooms were big and very clean and the beds very comfortable. We paid for the breakfast separately @ £9 but it was worth it, all you can eat cereals, full English a massive fruit selection and waffles. Very nice indeed. We will be staying here again.
Many thanks to Andy and his team for yet again a first class stay. The new current room upgrades are spot on and well furnished. A big shout to Antonia and Jess in the restaurant who's service was A1 even though they seemed rushed off their feet. Our overall experience was well met and will be back again soon. Once again thanks Andy.
Excellent meeting rooms. Audio and projectors of very high standard. Rooms are very comfortable with aircon. The staff have are very polite and efficient and make running an event straightforward. In particular Andrew and Charlotte have been of great assistance.Would recommend Clayton hotel for any meetings or conferences DD
A clean functional hotel about 20 minutes walk from the station. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, good small bathroom.Threnwas no air conditioning and you can hardly open the windows. The rooms have no fridge which is unheard of these days. You are given a voucher or £10 towards breakfast, which otherwise would be £12!The breakfast room was like a school canteen, the food likewise. In the evening there is a happy hour at the bar which attracts a lot of noise. When we arrived back from dinner there were aggressive bouncers at the door.....very disconcerting.I have since been told it's an unsafe part of Leeds .I will not return.
Rooms are nice and clean....hotel itself is very good and the staff are very helpful. Although there were several hen and stag parties the rooms are soundproofed so never heard anything. Bar us library themed and has enough televisions to keep sports fans like me happy.
Saturday night and after hitting the town the night before my husband and I decided to stay at hotel for tea. Which I have to say was lovely plus to service we received by a lovely girl called Georgia who was very welcoming and polite. If we ever visit Leeds again we wouldn't hesitate to book into Clayton hotel :)
Stayed at this hotel recently for one night and had a great time.We got a great rate for our rooms and we checked in with very friendly staff. We parked the car in the hotel carpark which is under the hotel and costs £12 per 24 hours. The rooms were nice and comfortable with plenty of towels and tea and coffee facilities. The bar has happy hours from 4pm - 8pm where the drinks are half price ie Heineken lager £2.50 and it was very busy when were in the bar @ 4.15pm.We never tried the food but the breakfast is £9 if you book it the day before but £12 if you go on the day- we went to Wetherspoons for a big breakfast with tea and toast for £6.50.The hotel is approx a 10 minute walk from the railway station. We shall return to this hotel in the future.
