Friendly helpful staff, we only stayed one night pre holiday flight ,helpful staff, cannot comment on breakfast here as we didnt have time, however on our return to collect the car, our battery had died, the staff were happy for the three of us to relax in their lounge whilst we waited for the rac man, the entertainer invited us to watch him in the other room (albeit we declined so our family member could find us when rac man had gone) Thanks for your hospitality

Very good area location for many coach parties to stay and to travel from on the coach itinerary. My partner and I stayed in this hotel 2 nights for dinner/bed and breakfast with National Coach travel. We visited Skipton market and went on the canal cruise, Embsay Steam Railway, Settle, Hawes, Aysgarth and Harrogate on the home trip. This hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained, the food was very good with a good range of food to choose from at breakfast and dinner. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We have stayed in the hotel before and it is good value for stay and fly. The reception on arrival could have been more welcoming we waited a while at the desk. The room was good value for money. We pre booked an evening meal that was very reasonably priced but seemed to have been standing on the server for a while. Coach trip parties are served first. There is a limited wine list. Having been offered an early morning call, it could have been a major problem when we didn't get one! These things happen but the dismissive apology on check out was not expected. We would stay again as transfers are excellent with Arrow Cars and it is a good location but would not book a meal or rely on and alarm call.

The Britannia Hotel is located about 10 minutes drive from Leeds/Bradford Airport and thus very convenient for travellers. We stayed there for one night whilst visiting friends locally. Our basic double room was on the fifth floor with views overlooking the countryside at the back of the hotel. It was of a reasonable size, clean and well-decorated. Furnishings consisted of a king-size bed, open hanging space and shelves by the door, a chest of drawers, a desk, a table and two armchairs, and two good-sized bedside chests with drawers. The bathroom was quite small but had a washbasin, lavatory, and bath with shower over. Not as good as a dedicated shower cubicle, but good for those who like to soak in the bath. The only criticism I have of the room is that some of the furnishings were rather tired. The chest of drawers had one side of the base missing and the table and armchairs were wobbly. The washbasin tap in the bathroom was worn down to the brass, but at least it worked, unlike the last hotel I reviewed. Breakfast was an English and Continental buffet with a wide selection of food. The quality of everything I ate was very good. Given its proximity to the airport, the price we paid for this hotel was very reasonable, and I would give it a 5 if it wasn't for the tired furniture.

We arrived here late at night as we were flying out early next morning and had booked the park and stay package. We found the Hotel easily enough and parked up ok. The hotel is clean the staff friendly and the room comfortable. We cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here but all looked well. We would definitely stay here again as part of the package included a taxi to and from the airport and it worked well.

booked through and got a great price . working in Otley so this was a great place to stay saving me driving back into Newcastle , good size room with tv and minifridge , the bed was comfy and bathroom had a decent size bath , I used the spa and pool and these were much appreciated after 12 hr shift at work.I was going to drive out and get food but the room service was a decent price so opted to stay in and get pizza and fries , hot and freshly made and only took 20 minutes . Staff all friendly and helpful . will deffo book again if in the area

The hotel was alright. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Didn't have a meal there so could tell you about that had a stroll up the hill to the local pub . Room was clean and tidy and we were on the 1st floor and it was quite.

What stood out to us more than anything was how pleasant the staff were even though very busy , The girl on reception was very efficient very professional very helpful , 2 girls in the Carvery restaurant although extremely busy were proper Yorkshire girls very pleasant . We stayed 1 night leaving our car over the weekend this deal included meals for 2 in the carvery we thought it was value for money . We got a return Arrow taxi to Leeds / Bradford Airport approx 5 minutes booked by Hotel which was good service. The hotel was full with a lot of coach trips which I would guess would be normal due to great location for Yorkshire tourists as well as Airport nearby. The food in the Carvery was excellent 3 courses . The hotel was looking old and a little tired but for us it served its purpose . Many Thanks

Really pleased with the hotel the room was clean and tidy. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The facilities were good especially the leisure. The bar and prices were very competitive which makes it all the worth while would definitely stay again.

First impression is nice. Room was in need of some decoration, a bit old fashioned. Restaurant was quite cold due to aircon being set low. The weather was freezing outside so that didn't help. Bar area was also cold, very open to the reception area. Food at dinner was quite good, choices and desserts were varied and reasonable. Breakfast was a bit dried up and cold. Too much on the counter at once. Staff were very nice and our room was warm although bed was a bit lumpy.
