Our stay was good - room was clean and large. Beds were comfy enough. Check in was slow and we were given twin beds. It's close enough to the airport but the other Holiday Inn is much closer. Would stay here again if there was a cheap deal on.
Stayed here for one night when flying from Gatwick. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really large with two very comfortable double beds. Restaurant was ok, quite expensive for what you had. Room was very clean, lovely modern bathroom.
Three night stay - excellent food, great room, staff completely engaged with their role, bedroom curtains that actually overlap, incredibly clean, minor problem with sink (not draining properly) fixed immediately, helpful caring front desk staff - all in all a fantastic stay. I will definitely being staying here again.
A little far from the Airport so don't forget to add extra time to catch your flight ! Standard Holiday Inn , nice hotel staff where very helpfully and rooms are spacious and clean . Restraunt/Bar are ok but would not eat there again as food was bland and very expensive for what you get. I would return for right price but a little far out for us !!
The GF and I booked the hotel via Holiday Extras for a one night stay before a 6am flight. The hotel parking was easy- cars are moved to a secure area pending pickup, check in was quite efficient and wake up calls and a taxi for the morning was booked, which turned up on time. Room was clean and comfortable, bed was excellent size. Would definitely stay again. Would have given 5 if: a) the bar staff had been friendlier when ordering food- yes it was late but you are an airport hotel- and serving a £5.50 portion of chips without the bearnaise sauce is naughty b) we were not given a leaflet for the taxi company so paid £17 at the airport rather than £11.50 on the way to the airport.
No problems at all, nice room. Did stay and park while on holiday, used the taxi company they recommended. No issues, stayed here twice now would stay again before next holiday. Didn't use restaurant so not sure on food.
Stayed here 2nd March overnight before flying out of Gatwick in the morning. Hotel was clean and tidy staff were very friendly. We were in room 101 which was clearly a disabled room. The only problem being the shower didn't go high enough when you were stood in it. I also found the bed very soft too soft for me and my partner so didn't sleep too well. There is a cinema and restaurants about 10 minutes away so we ate here. Would I use the hotel again, probably not I'd try somewhere else.
Stayed here the night before our flight to Aruba. We checked in quite late, very efficient, room was very clean. I haven't included a mark for the restaurant, as we left without using it, due to the fact that we had booked the VIP lounge at Gatwick. Checkout was done efficiently and taxi booked in advance of checkout.
I booked last minute and used my travel industry discount. Room was nice enough and clean - basic but comfy bed and pillows. Room was a bit on the cold side and heating couldn't be adjusted because of a centrally controlled timer - so I had to wear my hoodie. When I arrived the two staff on the front desk were talking and they carried on their conversation while I stood there, not acknowledging me. This is my pet customer service hate! The man then walked off with no smile or eye contact. The woman then looked down at her paperwork and shuffled it about a bit before looking up and greeting me, even though it was obvious I was stood there.
We stopped off here before our long flight the next day. Really good service. I loved the food. They were really attentive and took care of all our needs. The check-in was very quick and they arranged an alarm and taxi for the next day. Recommend this to everyone and i would definitely stay here again. THANK YOU!
